  The Ram 14K jacks don't have a replacement rod and nut available like the 12K # TJD-12000-RODNUT and are no longer available in that capacity. I recommend changing out your jacks for the 12K option. You can use the Bulldog Side Wind Jack Assembly - 12,500 lbs # BD182700 or the Buyers Products # 3370091410H or # 3370091415H as a replacement. You can find a typical grease and grease gun at your local hardware store as well.

• Does Bulldog 12.5K Square Trailer Jack Have to be Welded On
  One option would be to weld a bracket to Bulldog jack # BD182700 and then bolt the whole thing to the trailer. That way you are not welding steel to aluminum. Otherwise, if you choose to go with welding the jack straight to the trailer frame I recommend having a professional welder do it because welding to aluminum is tricky and takes experience. If you weld a steel bracket to the steel jack tube the bracket would have to be fabricated since there isn't a bracket made for this purpose.

  A drop leg on a jack will just be held to the inner leg with a pin such as # BD70129201. It sounds like the inner leg on your jack is damaged. That part is not available but you can replace the hole leg. We have 1 Bulldog square, side crank jack rated for 12,500 pounds and it is # BD182700.

  I reached out to my contact at Bulldog and she said the drop leg for the Bulldog Square Jack # BD182700 is not available as a replacement part. We do not currently have any other brand drop legs that could work as a replacement either so your only option at this point if the leg is damaged is to replace the entire unit.

  Bulldog square weld-on jack # BD182700 could potentially be used on a 5th wheel trailer but it really is meant for trailers with exposed frames and doesn't have stops on the outer tube for brackets like landing gear jacks have. If you have brackets already then you would just need to weld on some stops to the outer tube and the heights needed. For a tandem, manual landing gear set you could use # RVLG-8HDL which is both legs with the stops already on them, brackets, handle, and connecting rod.

  Bulldog does not offer a pivoting foot plate that would install onto the Bulldog Square Jack # BD182700. The best recommendation I could give would be to wait till you are on level ground to jack your trailer up and to make sure you have the wheels of the trailer chocked with something like the part # HT38511.
