Hard stops and heavy loads reveal worn hubs. This ABS-ready Lippert hub and drum comes prepacked with bearings, races, seal, and wheel bolts, saving you time on install and restoring smooth braking and steadier towing you can count on.
You know that split second when traffic ahead suddenly stops and you're forced to slam on your brakes? You glance in the rearview mirror hoping your trailer is stopping, not swaying, skidding, or jackknifing. That's when Lippert's anti-lock braking system earns its keep and this hub and drum are part of that system. The hub's toothy edge works like a tone ring. As it spins, sensors track wheel rotation and feed data to the ABS system, preventing lockup and giving you improved control when braking.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Lippert pregreased ABS trailer hub and drum assembly. Now this is going to be a complete ABS-ready hub and drum assembly for your 7,000 pound Lippert ABS axle. This is designed as a direct replacement and it has the ABS teeth that you can see right here cast right into the hub. That's going to allow this to work with Lippert's ABS system and compatible electric ABS brakes.
So the individual hub is rated at 3,500 pounds. So the pair, one on each side, is gonna match the axle's 7,000 pound capacity. This is gonna fit a number 42 spindle and it uses the inner bearing number 25580 and the outer bearing number of 14125A. Those bearings are included. So you see the outer bearing there.
And then the inner bearing is also installed along with the grease seal here as well. And the grease seal is going to be a 2.25 inch inner diameter grease seal. The drum measures 12 inches in diameter by two inches wide. And this is designed for 12 inch Lippert ABS brakes. It's gonna work with 16 inch wheels.
The bolt pattern is going to be eight on 6 1/2 inches. And a big advantage is that most of the wheel end components are already taken care of. This assembly is going to come pre-greased with the bearings, the races, the seal and the wheel bolts and also the hardware that you see here. So all that's gonna cut down on the amount of prep time needed during installation. Like I said, it includes the lug nuts, the castle nut, washer, cotter pin, and easy lube breeze cap.
So you're going to have all of the main hardware needed to finish the replacement. So if you have a 7K Lippert ABS axle with a number 42 spindle, 12 inch ABS brakes, 16 inch wheels, and an eight on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern, this is going to give you a nearly complete ready to install replacement hub and drum without having to piece all the individual components together. But I think it's gonna wrap up our look today. Again, they call me Andy. Thank you for joining me.
