Specs:
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: 8 on 6-1/2 means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: 5 on 4-1/2 means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Dexter Oil Bath trailer hub assembly with the eight on 275 millimeter bolt pattern and the 22 millimeter studs for your heavy duty 15,000 pound axle. Now this trailer hub assembly is designed to fit the heavy duty 15,000 pound axles with drum brakes. This will work as a direct replacement for the heavy duty hub and drum assembly, which we do sell separately. That goes by a part number of 008-401-72. And I did want to pop up an insert just to show you there's what that hub and drum assembly looks like and this part is just for the hub portion of it.
Now the bearing races are included and they are pre-installed in the hub, but now the bearings, the oil seal, the oil cap and the lug nuts are not included. Those you would have to buy separately. As we mentioned, it's an Oil Bath design, so it allows for easy maintenance. Basically it lets you check your lubricant level without having to disassemble the hub like on a grease hub. Basically when you have the oil cap on here, it's a clear see through oil cap, so you can check the lubrication by looking through that clear oil cap.
This is a sturdy iron construction. The hub is made in the USA. Again application, this is gonna fit 15,000 pound axles with drum brakes. The bolt pattern we mentioned is gonna be eight on 275 millimeters. The stud size 22 millimeters and the weight capacity on this one hub is 6,000 pounds.
But that's gonna do it for a look at this Dexter Oil Bath trailer hub assembly with the eight on 275 millimeter bolt pattern and the 22 millimeter studs.
