From open highways to tough job sites, this aluminum cap delivers waterproof protection you can trust. One look through the clear lens shows your oil or grease level so you know you're ready to go further without worry.
Replaces the oil bath/grease cap, O-ring, and plug on these axles:
Cap is a direct replacement for these Lippert, Dexter or Valcrum oil caps:
Say goodbye to leaks, milky oil, and all the headaches that come with water finding its way into your hub. A tight O-ring, gasket, and precision threading lock out water and road grime, while the red button on the vent plug works as a check valve. This lets built-up pressure escape but keeps water from ever getting in. Drive through thunderstorms, launch at the boat ramp, or tackle muddy job sites knowing your bearings and hub are protected.
The magnetic plug sits inside the cap and collects metal shavings and debris. When you check the plug during maintenance, you get an early warning about unusual bearing or axle wear. This lets you catch small issues before they turn into expensive repairs. In addition, the crystal-clear window makes it easy to check your oil or grease level in seconds. Just take a look and know you're running with the right amount of lubricant, helping you avoid surprise breakdowns.
Top up or change lubricant through the side access port. There's no need to remove the cap or risk damaging your seals. You save time, avoid mess, and lower the risk of improper installation.

Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our Valcrum HydroShield Waterproof. It's an aluminum oil or grease cap for 10,000 to 16,000-pound axles. So folks, if you've ever been out there and you wonder when it's time to check your oil or grease, you gotta take the cap off, you gotta do all this maintenance. Sometimes it's very tedious and tiresome. With this, you can eliminate a lot of that 'cause you now have a clear viewing cap to then see inside and see what everything's looking like.
So this is a complete waterproof protective cap. You get a tight O-ring, gasket, and precision threading here. This is a four-inch diameter thread. This locks out water and road grime, while the red button here in the center lets you vent and acts as a check valve. So it vents out built-up pressure and it's also gonna keep water from ever getting in.
So this is a direct fit replacement for some factory oil bath or grease caps and everything for select axles. And I'll fill them up on the screen for you. And what I like, besides the fact that you can visibly see in there and that the some nice anodized aluminum construction is you have this fill or drain plug here. And what's nice about that is it has a built-in magnet on it. So now any little metal shavings or particles are gonna get attached to that magnet.
And then, you can simply pull that out and wipe them off easily. And that's gonna prevent potential breakdowns by keeping those little particles out of your bearings and inside those seals and everything. So again, a great option for you if you're replacing one or you just wanna upgrade to something that's gonna last a lot longer and potentially save you some time on your maintenance checks and everything. Now here at etrailer, we do recommend you check everything at least once a year, even if you're not using that trailer too often. It's always a good idea to check your seals, check the oil or the grease, depending on what kind of, you know, lubrication you have in your setup on your axle.
As always, folks, if you have questions about this or anything related to trailer stuff, reach out to us. We're more than happy to assist you in any way we can. I'm Steven, thanks for watching and have a great day.
I'm am looking forward to see if they work as advertised. I tow a 40'boat all the time and have had nothing but bearing problems. Water has been getting into the bearings rusting and destroying them. Staff was a great help as well.
