Today we're going to review part no YR130-4. This is a Yates endcap for boat trailer rollers. This end cap will mount to a keel roller, a spool roller or a bow roller on your boat trailer. It provides additional surface area for improved boat to roller contact. This is constructed of a heavy-duty rubber material, it is made in the USA. These endcaps, they install on the same brackets that your keel, or your spool or your bow rollers are mounted to.
You will just attach each end cap to the shaft on the outside of the roller bracket and then it is held in place with a cap nut or a pal nut. These endcaps do provide more surface area for better boat to trailer contact and help keep your boat from being scratched by sharp bracket edges. A few dimensions we're going to do on this is the diameter of the end cap will be 3 inches. The height of the end cap will be 1 1/4 inches and it is designed to fit on a roller with a 1/2-inch diameter shaft. And that should do it for part no.
