This one fits group 27 batteries and includes a hold-down strap to keep it stable when the water's working against you. With external terminals, and a built-in 12V DC accessory port, you can connect your gear without opening the box. The 10-amp fuse in the accessory port adds extra protection for your electronics, so you can safely tap into your battery power for fish finders, lights, or charging a phone.
With 4 oversized cable ports and install instructions molded right into the lid, this box makes it easier to run wiring cleanly - even in bulkhead compartments or tight benches where angle and space matter. And since the instructions are part of the box, they won't go missing halfway through the job.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Attwood PowerGuard vented battery box. Now this box is designed for your 27, 27M, and 27F batteries, and this includes a hold-down strap to keep it stable when the water's working against you. As I mentioned, this is vented, and this is gonna be the right size for those batteries, so it's gonna be built to last through hard use on the water and the road. So this is going to work with a maximum battery height with the terminals of 10-1/2 inches. I'm gonna go ahead and undo this strap here real quick so I can give you a view of the inside.
Put that off to the side here. So just lift this lid up here, give you a view of the inside. This is heavy-duty plastic, so it's going to resist flex and sun and salt for long-term use. And the interior dimension's about 13-1/16 inches long, 6-15/16 inches wide. And again, like I mentioned, maximum battery height with terminals inside, 10-1/2 inches.
Putting the lid back on here, the overall height is going to be right at 10-1/2, I'm sorry, 10-7/8 inches. The overall width, 9-5/8 inches. And the overall length end to end, about 16-7/8 inches. So this is gonna be very easy to mount into place, and it's going to hold very well for you once you have it secured.
