Most hard covers limit what you can haul, but this one rolls up in seconds without tools. The TruXedo Sentry CT uses 3/4" thick aluminum slats wrapped in a premium, 5-layer polyester and vinyl fabric. You just pull the tailgate release cable on either side, roll it toward the cab, and secure it with the built-in safety straps. Even rolled up, it stays compact so you keep rear window visibility and full use of the bed for tall cargo.

Rain, snow, and sun all test a cover’s durability. The Sentry CT’s industrial-strength leather-grain vinyl and woven polyester top layer protects against UV rays and harsh weather from -40 °F to 120 °F. Beneath that layer, the 3/4" thick aluminum slats support up to 400 lbs of evenly distributed weight. Together they form a hard-rolling surface that shields gear from hail, impact, and road grime while keeping a clean matte black look.

Bulky covers can break up a truck’s lines and whistle in the wind. This design sits just 1/2" above the bed rails with side rails angled at 15 degrees for a flush, streamlined profile. The low stance reduces wind drag and helps improve fuel economy while keeping noise down on the highway. The woven fabric keeps the slats aligned so the cover rolls evenly every time.

The Sentry CT locks down tight with integrated slam latches at the tailgate plus extra security latches halfway down each rail. When used with a closed and locked tailgate, those latches create a sealed, tamper-resistant bed space that keeps tools and gear protected. Rubber edge seals block dust and water so your cargo stays clean and dry even through storms or car washes.

Installing this cover doesn’t require drilling or guesswork. The rails clamp inside the bed using bolt-on brackets that automatically square themselves as you tighten them. That self-leveling design ensures the cover rolls out straight and seals evenly every time. Because the rails mount inside the bed caps, you still have access to stake pockets for racks or tie-downs without interference.

The Sentry and Sentry CT by TruXedo are hard roll up style truck bed covers that feature an extra low profile. The Sentry comes with a leather grain vinyl fabric and the Sentry CT comes with woven matte black fabric. Both feature fabric that is pressure bonded to heavy duty aluminum slats, making Sentry the ultimate in durability and security. Each cover ships with a cover assembly, driver and passenger side rails, and all the hardware necessary to install it on your truck. The only tools necessary are a half inch wrench and scissors.Clean the bulkhead area with alcohol. Adhere the rubber seal to the bulk head, making sure to align the seal with the inside edge of the bulkhead. Trim the seal to sit flush with the bed caps.Position one side rail on the truck bed. Make sure the rail sits level on top of the truck bed.
Slide the rail towards the bulkhead so that the foam seal is compressed about half way. Install a clamp in the center of the rail, using a half inch wrench to tighten.Install the real clamp about 12 inches from the tailgate. To ensure a proper seal, put pressure on top of the rail when tightening. Install the front clamp about 12 inches from the bulkhead. Repeat on the opposite side.Place the cover assembly on the rails at the bulkhead.
Line the screw head on the underside of the cover assembly with the slot in the rail on each side.Slide the header guides towards the rail to secure the rolled cover to the rails. The header guide will click when it is securely fastened.Unroll the cover to the tailgate. Close the tailgate. Then push down on the end of the cover to latch both sides. Secure the hook and loop on both side rails before driving. To open the cover, drop the tailgate and pull down on a release cable.
Lift and roll rear header. To drive with the cover in the open position, both straps must be secured to the restraining straps. To releasee the strap, push the tab up.The installation is now complete.

After a year the cover is still looking great and working great. I wish I had purchased one of these when I purchased my truck, as it is nice to be able to securely store stuff in the bed of my truck.
