Its one-piece Lexan polycarbonate panel is built with 5/8" thick aluminum I-beams spaced every 4-3/4" for strength and can hold up to 200 lbs evenly distributed across the cover. Designed to perform between -50 and 200°F, it won’t crack from ice or warp in the heat. The matte black finish is scratch resistant and UV treated, so it stays looking clean and resists fading year after year.
Carry More Above the Bed: Built-In T-Slot Rails
If you like to haul gear on racks without giving up bed space, the integrated Trax Rail System makes it easy. The rails accept most T-slot crossbars and ladder racks from brands like Yakima, Rhino-Rack, and Thule (sold separately), so you can mount bikes, kayaks, or roof tents above the cover. The cover slides and locks anywhere along the rails, so you can use the racks and tonneau together without anything getting in the way.
Smooth, Hassle-Free Operation: Sealed Ball-Bearing Rollers
Opening and closing this cover is quick and simple thanks to sealed ball-bearing rollers that glide along the rails. There are no hinges, straps, or springs to jam or wear out, and it doesn’t need lubrication. A pop-up locking handle lets you slide the cover to any position along the track, so you can secure part of the bed while leaving room for taller cargo near the tailgate.
Maximum Security: Locking Handle and Overlapping Seals
The low-profile handle sits flush and conceals the lock under a protective lid, keeping out dirt and moisture while hiding it from sight. When latched with your tailgate locked, the cover forms a sealed surface that can’t be pried up or cut through like soft covers. Weather stripping and foam seals around all sides block rain and dust, and the overlapping tailgate edge prevents water from seeping inside.
Space-Saving Design: Compact Angled Canister with Drain Tubes
When retracted, the cover rolls into a 13-1/2" deep by 12" tall storage canister that sits at the front of the bed. The angled bottom of the canister leaves more floor space for long items, and the spiral track system keeps the cover from rubbing against itself while it rolls. Two built-in drain tubes route water out of the canister to keep the cover dry and mildew-free.

Glad to hear it looks great, Shelli! I have had a similar cover on my Silverado since 2018 and the retractable covers are the way to go, at least in my opinion. I haven't any issues with the canister making loading up the bed with stuff cause any problems and I don't think you will either. ^___^ What are you typically keeping in your bed? I always have a milk crate with survival type stuff in it, just in case!
