Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're looking at our UWS Truck Toolbox Tie-Down Side Rail. So folks, if you need some extra tie-down locations and you have a UWS toolbox in the back of your pickup truck, this may be a great option for you. It simply installs on the UWS toolbox that have a chamford lid. Now these have been constructed of a very, very stable, UV stabilized, glass filled nylon, giving you long term durability.
They're super strong, super durable. As with all UWS products, as you know, they're kind of out in the forefront, in my opinion, as far as their quality and just the way that they do all their products and everything. Now these are rated for a 50-pound weight limit, so not really used or designed as like a handrail or grabbing to like get up on the side of the truck or stuff like that. Keep in mind these are gonna get installed on the lid of that toolbox. So again, they're just gonna give you a 50-pound weight limit.
And it's more of like whenever you're strapping stuff down, that sideways lateral kind of pool is what it's giving you, so keep that in mind. You do get two side rails here, both included. And then, of course, you get all the hardware. These here are a nice rubber coated hardware here. So this lip here has got a little give to it that's gonna give everything watertight that it needs and it's threaded inside of there.
And then, of course, you have the rest of the hardware here, and these are using a hex head bolt here to do the installation. Now this is gonna be a drill application, so you will need to do some drilling and stuff on your lid to install this. So make sure that you know what you're getting into before you start. Read all the instructions, I always recommend, on any product that you purchase anywhere. Make sure you know what you're getting into before you start.
Now these are gonna measure 18 and one quarter inches long, and then depending on how you measure, I got three and a half inches on a width with it standing up kinda like it would be in use. So, there's a lot of funky angles going on here, so the measurements, just know that it will fit that three quarter inch by 45 degree chamford lid with a minimum body width of 18 and a half inches on those UWS toolboxes. Folks that we'll wrap up our look together at this UWS Truck Toolbox Tie-Down Side Rail Kit. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching. Have a great day.
