Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this plastic tray for the UWS tool boxes. Now this plastic tool tray can replace or can be used in conjunction with your standard UWS sliding tray. It is designed to fit any UWS standard with crossover truck toolbox. This plastic tray will fit into the toolbox and it'll slide along the inner rails at the top of the box. What's nice about having this tray is you could hold smaller hand tools or small items that might normally get lost at the bottom of your toolbox, here you can have 'em right up at the top.
This is a nice, sturdy thermal form black plastic construction, if you notice it has three separate sections. Just to give you an idea of the measurements on those, the inner section inside. Inside is right at about 7 5/8 inches. The two outer trays are gonna be right at 4 3/8 inches. And again, these are inside measurements.
Total length on the inside of the tray is right at 16 1/4 inches. And then just give you the overall dimensions, the width from this end to this end, right at 19 1/8 inches. The length, 18 5/8 inches. But that should do it for the review on this plastic tray for the UWS tool boxes.

It fit the DAWS toolbox on my truck, but I had to do some grinding to make it work. Not really what I wanted, but it will have to do for now. If you really need a tray like I did, this will work for a while. Its overpriced, but everything is right now. Get a metal one if you can and be done. Forget about putting very much in it, bows in the middle without much load. I wished I could be more positive, but stay away from plastic!

This plastic tray is made for DeWalt and UWS Toolboxes. Unfortunately, our metal trays are even larger than this one.
UWS tool box replacement trays are an exact fit for my box. I'm so glad I found Etrailer's website. They are of excellent quality....rugged and rigid enough to hold a substantial amount of weight. I bought two so that I can have access to a tool tray from either end of a gullwing tool box. They are really handy for storing hand tools and it makes them easily accessible. Once I have what I need out of the tray, I can slide it out of my way for access to my larger tools.
The tray fits perfectly into my Kobalt truck tool box and was receicved timely. Only reason for me not rating it as Excellent is due to the fact that it is somewhat thinner then I had hoped. That said, it is still slightly thicker and more substantial than the original tray that came with the Kobalt tool box when I purchased it from Lowes.

GREAT SERVICE, RECEIVED AS NOTIFIED. WOULD DO BUSINESS AGAIN WITH ETRAILER
USING IN OLD TOOL BOX CLEANED UP. HAD NOT PLASTIC TRAY AND ONE KEY.
the product was received very quickly and was exactly as specified in the description and specifications. Installed them immediately as they were exact replacement for the broken tray in my UWS diamond plate tool box. A very pleasant experience dealing with etrailer.com .

Perfect fit for my Kobalt box. Looks like it’s made to last.
I received it and it fits perfectly in my Kobalt truck tool box. Its better than the original Kobalt tyray that I got from Lowe's.
durable, fit perfect into full size tool box and makes access to common tools much easier. highly recommend.
Shopping was a breeze, fast delivery and just had to make a minor adjustment to my tray to fit my tool box. I would definetly order again.

I have not tried this yet but it is bigger than I expected, which is a good thing. I don't think you want to put anything heavy in it because it does seem a bit to flexible. I'll have to try it out to know for sure. Probably wouldn't be hard to strengthen it up a bit by adding some flat iron around the edges.

Had to trim about 12 off ends to make it fit. Other than that its good. Just wish it was heavier, and wider to hold more tools.
