Today we're going to be taking a look at the DZ Specialty Series Underbody Toolbox. This is a rust-proof, bright tread aluminum construction. It's a rectangular underbody style box. It's going to feature a single drop down door that's going to open from top to bottom to provide easy access to the cargo area. The capacity of the unit is 5.94 cubic feet. It's going feature the stainless steel locking T-Handle latch that's going to help deter theft. It does come with two keys.
It's got the lock core right there. Pull out the handle, rotate it, and it's going to open that lid. It's got the two chains to hold it in the open position, that way you don't have to hold it when loading or unloading your gear, or your cargo. It's also going to feature the water-tight C-channel and bold seal that's going to prevent water from entering the box and damaging your belongings. To lock it, you just rotate the key .. That's going to lock the T-Handle in place so you can't rotate it to open up the box.
Very simple installation. It's going to mount to your truck or trailer using a universal mounting kit. It is sold separately. It can be found right here at ETrailer.Com using DZDB-2502 as the part number. That is required for the installation. This product is made right here in the USA.
It's going to be designed for flatbed trucks, dump trucks, or trailers. Really nice design. Take a look at the overall dimensions real quick, starting with the width from front to back. It's going to give us a measurement of about 20 inches. Overall height, looking at about 18 inches.
If we take a measurement of the overall length, it's going to give us a measurement of about 30 inches long. DZ is going to cover this product with a limited lifetime warranty. That's going to do it for today's look at the DZ Specialty Series Underbody Toolbox.
