How Counteract Tire Balancing Works
Once your tire begins to roll, the beads will get distributed around its interior thanks to centrifugal force. As the wheel continues to spin, the heavy spot in your unbalanced tire will pull up and down on your vehicle's suspension. This will cause the beads to shift in the opposite direction of that pull. The beads will continue to migrate until there are enough of them on the opposite side of the heavy spot to balance your tire.Before Installing Counteract

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Counteract single five ounce bag of tire balancing beads. Now these Counteract balancing beads are the economical way to balance your tire and wheel assembly for the lifetime of the tire. These beads will basically install inside your tire. I'm gonna zoom in here and show you what you'll get when you order this bag.
You'll get the bag just like this. You'll tear off the top here, and then just dump out what's on the inside. And on the inside you'll see you get a five ounce bag of balancing beads, you get a vortex valve core and you get a self-sealing valve cap. Now these beads are made of coated glass spheres. The balancing beads will not cause any damage to the inner liner of your tire and they won't clump regardless of excess moisture and they are TPMS compatible.
They are environmentally friendly construction, they are reusable and recyclable. And how these Counteract beads work to balance your tire, just wanted to show you a little insert there that basically shows you once your tire begins to roll, this bag will break on the inside of the tires and the beads will be distributed around the interior, thanks to centrifugal force. And as that wheel continues to spin, the heavy spot on your unbalanced tire will pull up and down on the vehicle suspension and this will cause the beads to shift in the opposite direction of that pull so the beads will continue to migrate until there's enough of them on the opposite side of the heavy spot to balance out your tire. And these tire balancing beads will continuously and automatically readjust the balance of your trailer, truck or off-road tire. Does reduce vibration, ensures even wear to increase life of the tire and only gonna improve fuel economy.
It has a very easy installation. You just throw this inner bag into the tire when it's removed from the wheel, or you can inject the beads in through the valve stem. The beads will remain inside the tire, they don't come loose to contaminate the environment and they won't cause any damage to the wheels. Now, one note I do wanna mention, that if your tire has an internal TPMS sensor, you will need to break down the tire to install these beads. The application for this five ounce bag is 15" to 22" truck tires.
Now to order the correct amount of beads for your application, you will need to get the size of the tire from the sidewall of your trailer or vehicle and match it to the tire sizes that are listed on the product page for that size bag of beads. They do offer many different size of bags, we do sell separately. This one's a five ounce bag. Now in order to reduce the possibility of any valve leaks, the use of this Counteract valve core, and this metal valve cap is recommended in place of the original valve core and cap and they are included in every bag of the beads. These parts are made in the USA and this part is for a quantity of one bag of beads for one tire. Very easy to use. Cannot rush the installing of the beads through the valve stem.As they will log jam up. Slow and stead fill with positioning the valve stem at the bottom of the wheel. Not sure if this would work well with TPMS wheel sensors. Would probably be better to have the tires broken of their beads by a automotive shop and put in that way.
Counter Act balance beads are an excellent product, I have used them in my motorcycle tires for years. This is the first time I have ordered a set for truck tires.

It was what I needed for my tires 35/12.50/18 the only issue is the new valve stems leak when used with TPS’s so I used my old ones . Great product very easy to use. The best part is you don’t have to man handle the big tires on to a balancing machine and play with stick on weights or bang on weights . I have already recommended this to a few fleet shops so they stop wasting time and money trying to balance big off road knobby tires
I have a 1970 VW van with 14" wheels that most shops can't balance because they lack the adapter ring to fit the wheels. Great tool. Just what I was looking for. Turns a tedious hour long jub in to a 5 minute pleasure.
Easy install as long as the inner bag isn't broken. That's why it's good to buy the kit with the fill bottle, that helped make it go faster into the stem.
Well, the idea of putting them in thru the Toyota TPMS valves didnt work out so I had to break the tire bead off the rim and put them in that way. More work but the results are worth it, smooth as soft butter!!
I think these were a good price and fast shipping. Been bead balancing wheels for years. I'm sure these will do just fine. I'll update after install if there is a problem, but I certainly don't forsee one.
