Wiring up a trailer usually means tracking down the right wires and making cuts, but this Curt T-Connector makes it easy. It plugs right into your vehicle’s existing tail light connectors to give you a 4-pole flat trailer plug. No splicing or guessing which wire does what—just connect it and you’re ready to go.
The harness is designed to blend in with the vehicle’s wiring using matching factory-style plugs. That means no messy wire runs or hanging connections. Everything tucks neatly behind the trim, keeping the install looking clean and protected from the elements.
The 4-flat connector delivers all the essentials—running lights, turn signals, and brake lights—so your trailer lights work exactly as they should. It’s the same standard connection used on most light-duty trailers, giving you a solid link every time you tow.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flash Trailer Connector. Now this harness has been designed to fit your 1999 to 2000 Dodge Van full size with either the factory step or the standard bumper. On custom-fit parts, such as this harness, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have another harness that will work for you. Now this is obviously going to give you a four-pole flat trailer connector at the back of your van to power your trailer signal lights.
This is gonna be compatible with five, six, and seven-pole adapters. Those adapters are sold separately. If you notice, this does include a dust cap, so you can cover those connection points when this is not in use, protecting those connection points from dirt, dust, debris, things like that. Now this is going to connect quickly and easily. What's nice about this harness is you're not gonna have to worry about any cutting or splicing of wires.
You're just gonna locate the connection point behind the rear bumper on the driver's side, and then that's all there is to it. You are going to get instructions to guide you through that simple installation process. You're also gonna get this bag here with some cable ties and a self-tapping screw there. And then, once the installation is complete, the four-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near your trailer receiver hitch. A mounting bracket is recommended to keep the connector secure.

Hooked it right up and worked flawlessly
Nice powder finish and looks great. Easy to install I her than a little bit of wiggling of the bolts to get them all lined up. Nice clean look and evenly flush with the standard bumper. Note: this will NOT FIT A FACTORY STEP BUMPER. This is specifically for the 2000 model with the standard bumper. All in all I’m super satisfied, and plan to order product from them again in the future!
I checked all around town for this adapter. None of the auto parts stores, tractor supply stores or the dealerships carried an adapter that would allow me to hook up my trailer lights. etrailer.com had the right part and a great price. I received conformation with in 10 minuets of ordering and I received the product sooner than I expected. I plugged the adapter into my truck and trailer and crossed my fingers hoping that it would work and voila', it worked. frustrating experience turned great with my experience with etrailer

I can't believe how easy this is. I have a Dodge B3500 15 Passenger Van. I found that Dodge has already wired a plug-in for a trailer hook-up from the factory. I purchased this little 4-pole wiring harness from etrailer and it just plugs right in to the awaiting plug furnished by Dodge. I wire-tied up the excess and bang ho it was done. It took less than 5 minutes. No need to worry about color codes... polarity and what have you. Just plug it in and you're done. This is like having wheels on luggage. Im embarrassed to say that I have yet to install a trailer hitch on my van but your product is installed and ready to go! Anyway... I took a look at the review that I wrote and its dead on it is like having wheels on luggage. This is a real time saver and anyone can do it... even women. I like the fact that it just plugs into the existing wiring harness and omits having to cut into the wiring. Surely, cutting into the wiring leads to problems down the road, where the tape falls off or the crimp connectors fail because of water damage, or the wires come apart and now we have wiring shorts and ground problems. All of those problems were alleviated by a simple harness connector addition and your product. No muss no fuss... just Plug & Play! Thanks for a wonderful product!
