Hi, everybody. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our WeatherTech side window air deflectors with dark tinting. It's gonna be a four-piece front and rear set. Now folks, this is for the 2017 to 2023 GMC Acadia. That being said, make sure you double check our fit guide here at etrailer.com to be sure you're getting the right parts the first time.
And sometimes videos could be outdated and it could potentially fit newer makes and models as well. Now, window deflectors are gonna do just that. They're gonna deflect the wind and the rain, but also let the heat vent out, escape, while the vehicle has the window down slightly. And then also when it's raining outside, you can have your window vented and not get water and stuff inside. They install pretty quickly and easily inside your window channel.
There's no exterior tape needed, at least on the front ones. On the rear ones, there's a small piece of adhesive tape on both of the sides, but it's very, very minimal. It's really just kinda a placeholder more than anything. These are going up inside of that window channel, and that's what separates WeatherTech from the other brands out there. They boast a low-profile original OE look and they offer exceptional durability with their three millimeter thick acrylic construction.
So they're flexible, you're not gonna break these pretty easily. They're very nice. And again, these fit the front and rear, both driver and passenger side windows, and of course they're approved by the DOT as far as safety use on the roads and that kind of stuff. They're gonna give you a little installation tool to assist you in installation. And there's two metal clips.
These are for the front two. So the front ones are these longer ones, obviously. And the rears are the shorter ones. And again, same concept, window channel. It's gonna let you vent out heat and also let fresh air in. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
