Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors with Dark Tinting, specifically for the front of a 2020 through 2025 Ford Escape. Now folks, that being said, this is a custom fit application. Sometimes videos can become outdated, so be sure you're checking our fit guide here at etrailer.com. Where it says "My vehicle Information or Vehicle," enter things like year, make, and model, submodels, bed length of the truck.
Make sure you're getting the right parts the first time. Now, if you're not sure or never used these, what these will do is they're gonna reduce wind noise, number one, while you're driving, and they install very quickly and easily inside the window channel. So there's no exterior tape needed and that kind of stuff. Now what you can also do is be able to crack your window down a little bit and allow that heat to vent out or escape from your vehicle when it's hot. And you can have your window vent a little bit when it's raining, and it's gonna keep rain from getting inside of the vehicle as well.
So very nice. I love 'em. I got 'em on all my vehicles over the years. Anytime I get a new vehicle, one of the first things I get, honestly, is window vents. We're here in the Midwest.
It gets hot in the summer, so I like to vent everything and just get some fresh air in there. Now these do boast a low profile OE or original equipment look. They offer exceptional durability. And they are a three mill thick acrylic construction. So they're virtually indestructible.
They are super heavy duty. And as you can see, they got a little smoke tint, so you can barely see through the little bit. So that's nice. But this particular model, you're gonna have a little, I guess you can call it a pry bar, but it's a tool for assisting to install these. And then you have two metal clips here as well to help hold these in place. So follow the instructions, it's not too hard. These are gonna fit the driver and passenger side front windows. And again, it's going up into the channel of the window and that molding. So I recommend probably best to do it either whenever your temperatures are pretty warm outside, or I'd say about 60 degrees, somewhere in that area. But if you have a sunny day, put your vehicle out in the sun. It's definitely gonna make insulation a little bit easier. It's gonna soften up that molding on the window trim a little bit so that'll help you. That's gonna wrap it up, folks. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
