Features to know about

Stay Level and Confident with Heavy Front Loads: 11,000-lb Load-Leveling Capacity

When you add heavy front gear like a plow or other equipment, the front end can sag and throw off steering, braking, and headlight aim. The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System for the front axle adds up to 11,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity to keep the front of your vehicle level and stable. These hollow rubber springs work with your factory suspension to share the load, reducing sag and helping your tires stay planted for steadier control when things get heavy up front.

Smooth Out Rough Roads: Progressive Hollow Rubber Springs

Every bump, dip, or uneven road surface tries to jar the front end. Timbren’s hollow rubber springs absorb the shock before it reaches you. Their progressive design collapses along the folds under pressure and then stiffens as weight increases, giving you a smoother ride when unloaded and solid support when carrying or pushing heavy gear. It’s a simple way to keep ride quality comfortable while still handling work-ready loads.

Ride Even and Steady on Uneven Terrain: Independent Spring Action

When one side of your vehicle dips into a rut or you make a sharp turn, each Timbren spring works on its own. This side-to-side independence helps reduce body roll during cornering or swerving and evens out off-center loads automatically. The result is steadier handling through curves and crosswinds without excess sway or leaning.

Simple Bolt-On Setup: No Air Lines or Adjustments Needed

Installing this system is straightforward with custom-fit brackets and included hardware that bolt directly to the frame—no drilling required. Because these rubber springs don’t rely on air hoses, compressors, or manual adjustments, setup stays simple and maintenance is minimal. Once installed, the springs are always ready to cushion bumps, support loads, and keep your suspension level no matter how tough the job gets.

A+++ Excellent product and customer service. Bought both front and rear suspension enhancements and worth it. Highly recommend.

by:

I like using Etrailer because i can call and talk to a person. These front ones went in pretty easy just like directions said. and they got rid of the bad bumping sound in my front end after hitting a bump. smoothed things right out.

by:

The timbrens actually did what they were suppose to do. However, once I starter driving out west I notice the timbrens were riding on the axle which cause the speedometer to jump around depending on the road. I would recommend them if you are hauling or towing a camper or RV. I was going to contact etrailer about maybe removing a spacer for one set however the other set came as one unit. The bottom line is the Timbrens does stabilize your load for safe travels. I will be contacting etrailer soon to assist in correcting the problem...Road trip from Idaho,Colorado,Wyoming, and Utah were beautiful... Thank you etrailer

by:

Installation was not too hard, Install Videos explain all steps in great detail. BumpStops arrived in excellent condition and was delivered in a timely manner

I had a problem with getting front sumo springs relative to the rear sumo springs I purchased earlier; however, the staff at etrailer were very helpful in getting me a suspension enhancement component made by timbren which I just installed. I believe the timbren supports are going to do the job I was looking for and make me just as happy as I am with the rear sumo springs. You will notice from the photos the supports make direct contact; however, the pictures were taken on a unlevel surface and when the truck is on a level surface the direct contact is equal on either side. Also, the timbren supports provide substantially more weight capacity in the event I choose to haul my scooter on the front end of the truck. Thanks again Derek S and etrailer staff I am very pleased with the service, customer relations and professionalism experienced when ordering my parts. Thank you, Bobby (Louisiana).

I installed Timbren’s front and rear on my 2020 F53 chassis motorhome. They are by far the best suspension upgrade I have done. I had previously installed Super Steer Trac Bar, Radius Rods and Safe-T-Plus, which had helped, but not as much as I had hoped. The Timbren’s finalized the package and it drives good now.

by:

Easy install, didn't even need the brackets for my application. Really helped with sidesway in the wind and seems to help the front from dipping with extra weight. Haven't tried plowing snow yet but I think they will make a major difference

by:

Ok it’s been a year since I’ve had the springs and I’m impressed. With how easy the install is and what you get out of it these are truly amazing. No more “squishy” feeling when towing my 22fy travel trailer. The ride is a little bumpy but I don’t care. I’m glad I found these.

by:

For me surprisingly easy to install at 67 years old. Had immediate handling improvement and steering control.

by:

Have them on several trucks now and couldn't imagine running snow plows without anymore.

by:

The front Timbren are working very good. The rear not so good

by:

Install was straightforward. Hardest part was getting the old bump stops out. Sway was greatly reduced on the Interstate and the rock and roll by passing semis was greatly reduced. Wish I had bought these sooner!

by:

Pretty pricey but well worth it. Put these all the way around at the same time as new rear leaf springs on our c7500 topkick and it made a huge difference. It's a top heavy bucket truck and it would rock and roll just turning a corner to the point it was downright scary. Now thats greatly reduced. They also smoothed out the ride especially when loaded more than I expected.
Install was simple, perfect fit. Worst part was grinding out the rivet on the old bracket

by:

These bumpstops really work, they stop the front end vibration before it travels through the shocks and springs, for a smooth ride

by:

I haven/t installed them yet. I think I should have gotten a discount for the age of the "box"s the Timbrens were in. May be a credit ,, Brad

by:

I love these things. They are worth the upfront expense. I have them on two ¾'s, one ½, and a minivan for road trips. This particular set is full-time active up front. I have a 2" leveling kit and I'm in em no matter what. Zero complaints though. Solid performance through all aspects. I don't run any front-end attachments.

by:

I have a 2006 Kodiak 2 wheel drive. Timbrin firmed up the front end to much. There in full contact with the spring. I think it to stuff and I might be removing them. The install was straight forward. Parts are as expected and quality of Timbrin is great. Just not enough cush..

by:

Great ordering, shipping time, cost, and supporting information. We added a snow plow and the product did everything as advertised.

Easy to install

by:

A nice product that you don’t even notice.

by:

Got them yesterday installed them last night very easy to install. Made a world of difference put the 8600 lb in the back thought I ordered something different on the fronts but ended up getting 11,000 lb in the front feels good drives good loading today I will give you update what it feels like heavy.

by:

The installation instructions are useless.
You
are up to your own devises to find the best way to remove the stock bumpers. The rubber base is offset with no clue as to which way they are designed to be installed. I wonder if these are even the right units for this truck.
It also took several hours of driving to completely seat these timbren units even after using wood spacers for the install.
Once installed, the timbrens rest completely on the top of the axle without any clearance in between, making the ride very stiff now. Very small bump in the road is felt now.
Don’t know if this is by design or not?

I am sorry to hear about the trouble that you have had with the springs. I spoke with Timbren with the issues that you have been having. The springs should not be off center and should be centered over the front axle. I would love to see a picture of how they are on your truck. You are correct in that you do have the pry the original bump stops out. Using a flat screw driver will help. Yes for the front bump stops they will rest on the top of the axle without a gap which does mean that it will create a stiffer ride. It is by design. These are rated for 11,000 pounds which may be too high for what you are using them for. Another option would be to with a lesser rated spring like part # SS68RR which is rated for 800 pounds.

Was really worried how well these would work compared to a leveling kit for my truck. I have a 2017 Ram 2500 crew cab, 6.4. I put a western wide out on it to plow with and was really disappointed with the truck springs as I had almost 3" of squat. So I was in a toss up, leveling kit or these. I bought the timbren just to try cause I have never used them before, all I can say is I'm very happy with my purchase, now I only get about 1/4-1/2" of squat and the truck rides awesome with the plow on. With the plow off it is noticeably a bumpier ride but I wanted the front end stuffed for plowing and got exactly what I was looking for. Should also mention I had 900lbs ballast in the bed before the install, I only have 420lbs now. World of difference!
