When you’re carrying tools, gear, or a camper, the rear end shouldn’t sag. These Old Man Emu rear coil springs are built for constant loads, preventing squatting and bottoming out when the weight piles up. With a spring rate of 318 lbf/in compared to an OE rate of 150 lbf/in, they deliver solid support that keeps your stance level and your handling under control mile after mile.
Worn-out coils can drop your ride height and throw off suspension geometry. These replacement springs bring your truck back to its proper stance and maintain correct alignment whether loaded or not. Each coil is computer-formed for a precise fit, so you get a dependable setup that restores ride quality without guesswork.
Strength doesn’t have to mean stiffness. These springs are tuned for comfort and control, balancing support with enough flex to smooth out rough terrain while keeping highway handling confident. Whether you’re tackling rugged trails or cruising fully loaded, the suspension stays composed and predictable.
Mud, salt, and bad weather take their toll on suspension parts. These coils are finished in a black powder coat that protects against rust and corrosion so they keep looking good and performing strong over time. With an 18 mm bar diameter, 6.75 turns, and a free height of 390 mm per spring, they’re designed for lasting durability backed by a 3-year warranty.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at these Old Man Emu rear custom coil springs. Now, these springs have been designed to fit your 2003 to 2009 Toyota 4Runner, and I have a chart there for you on your screen showing you the submodels of the 4Runners that this is going to work with. And if you look a little bit lower, you will also see that this is gonna work with your 2007 to 2009 FJ Cruisers. So on custom fit parts such as these springs, I do recommend taking advantage of our Vehicle Fit Guide here at etrailer.com. Simply pop in the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our Fit Guide will confirm if these springs will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
So whether you're hauling heavy gear or you're tackling rugged terrain or outfitting your truck for work, these heavy duty rear coil springs are gonna help prevent sagging. They're gonna help maintain your ride height and improve handling under constant weight. These are gonna be perfect for overlanding, towing, and carrying heavy equipment. And as you know, worn out springs don't just make your 4Runner or your FJ Cruiser look saggy. They are gonna mess with the handling.
They're gonna mess with the ride quality. So these replacement coils are gonna bring your vehicle back to its proper stance. It's gonna help prevent bottoming out and keep your suspension geometry dialed in, whether you're loaded up or you're riding light. Now, strength doesn't have to mean a harsh ride. These springs are gonna give you the right balance of support and flex.
So that's going to ensure stability on rough trails while maintaining smooth, controlled handling on the highway. These are crafted using computer formed mandrels, and these high strength spring steel coils are designed for a precise OEM style fit. And again, they're going to support the weight without compromising your suspension geometry. They're gonna give you that durability and performance that you need for those heavy loads and that tough terrain. Rust can also wreck a good set of springs, but these do feature a black powder coat finish that's going to be built to last.
These are shielded against mud, road salt, and harsh weather so you can keep driving through tough conditions without worrying about corrosion. So these springs are really going to be an excellent upgrade for you if you frequently carry heavy loads. If you tow or you venture off road, this is gonna give you improved ride quality, rear lift, and long-term durability. So if you do decide to pick these up, we would love to hear back from you regarding your experience with installing these and using them, so you can share your experience with us by dropping a comment or leaving a review on this product page. We would love to hear back from you. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Sorry to hear that, Roger. These will only fit a select year range of 4Runner, so I can see why they don't fit your Odyssey. I will get a return label moving for you.
