The double-convoluted air bags add up to 5,000 lbs of rear axle support to steady your ride when towing or hauling. That means your headlights stay aimed right, braking stays consistent, and steering feels balanced instead of light or sloppy. It works with your factory suspension to smooth out rough roads and cut down on squat and bounce when the load gets heavy.
No more dragging out an air hose or guessing at pressures. The built-in compressor and in-cab analog control let you adjust both air bags together from the driver’s seat. Add a few pounds before hitching up, or let some out when unloaded—anywhere between 5 and 100 psi. The setup runs on 12VDC with a max working pressure of 120 psi and a duty cycle of 9% at 100 psi (0.32 CFM at 100 psi). It’s steady, convenient control that keeps your truck dialed in for every drive.
Everything you need comes in the box: air bags, custom-fit brackets, compressor, single electric analog control panel with wiring harness, no-drill compressor mounting panel, rails, fittings, lines, and hardware. The brackets bolt to factory attachment points, cutting down on measuring and drilling so the install fits right the first time. Once mounted, you can make adjustments without crawling underneath or chasing leaks thanks to tight-sealing fittings and a leak-resistant design.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're looking at our Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bags with an Easy Mount Compressor and an In-Cab Control. Now this is a single path kit, meaning you're gonna inflate or deflate both bags at the same time, and it's rated for 5,000 pounds capacity. Now this is also a custom-fit, everything has been precision-made. The brackets and everything are gonna bolt directly to factory attachment points, so no drilling or modifications needed.
And there's so many parts here, I can barely fit them on the table. This bag of parts here is your brackets for the compressor, and then of course you have all the brackets here that are made out of heavy-duty steel and then powder-coated black to keep out rust, corrosion, and give you longevity. Now when everything here is put together, it's gonna look something like this. I just threw a little collage up here together, so we can take a look at the parts, more or less what they're gonna look like when they're assembled. Obviously, you're gonna have some more parts that aren't in the pictures there that you're gonna be using, but that's the general idea.
And what you're gonna be able to do is add some pounds of air or take some out whenever it's time to load or unload, it's gonna be very simple and quick, because you're gonna be able to do all that from inside the cab with this analog gauge, and simply inflate or deflate them as needed. Again, at the same time. You get a nice big bag of hardware that's got everything from nuts, bolts, cable ties to your T-fittings for the air line that comes with it for the install. Quick tech tip, make sure when you cut this to length, you're making nice, clean cuts. That's from the techs here at etrailer, the installers, they tell me 99.9% of the time when they get calls about air leaks, it's usually leaking at a fitting and it's as simple as they just didn't make a clean cut.
Because again, those are push-to-connect fittings. So make sure you get a clean cut there. The compressor, really impressive. It's pretty small. I mean, as you can see, it's just a little bit bigger than my hand here, if you will.
And it does the job, you know what I'm saying These are big air bags and it's inflating and deflating them with ease. And again, of course, these are made out of heavy-duty rubber, straight from the manufacturer. Firestone's been around for ages, they've been doing stuff with rubber and also the air bag stuff for ages so you know the quality is there. And again, everything's powder-coated so you don't have to worry about rust or corrosion. And this is all reinforced, so you're gonna have a very nice product for years and years to come. Went together real nice. Harder getting off the old bolts. I did need two screws that were missing. Easy to get at store store.
I like how the Firestone All-in-one comes with everything I needed without needing to piece together a bunch of parts. The best part is that the air bags and the compressor system come in one package, so everything is already matched and ready to install. I still had to mount the compressor myself, but there’s no guesswork on what works with what.
Installation takes a little time, but the bags make a noticeable difference. They level out the truck, cut down on squat, and help everything feel more stable when you’re towing. And with the onboard compressor, I can add or remove air whenever I need, without carrying around a bulky compressor or stopping at the gas station.
It’s a solid, well-built kit that simplifies the whole process. For anyone who tows often and wants a clean, all-in-one solution, it’s a great fit.
Kit looks good, not installed yet but looks sturdy and well-made. I would however strongly suggest that a review of the shipping container be done.
My kit showed up at the door with the entire bottom of the box was gone. The carrier used clear strapping tape to pull the box back together. After inventorying the contents it appears to be all there. I suggest that the box have strapping tape around it or a better box.
