When your truck squats under a heavy trailer or bed load, this Firestone Ride-Rite kit steps in with up to 5,000 lbs of rear axle support. The double-convoluted air springs work with your factory suspension to keep the truck level and stable so steering, braking, and headlight aim stay right where they should. Whether you’re towing a camper or hauling a full bed of gear, the ride stays smooth and steady.
Getting the stance right is simple with the built-in wireless setup. Just open the Firestone app on your smartphone to inflate or deflate both air bags together from 5 to 100 psi. You can level your truck while standing at the hitch, at the campsite, or from inside the cab. It’s one setup that takes guesswork out of dialing in load support on the fly.
Everything you need comes in one box—air bags, Air Command 9523 standard duty compressor, app-based wireless control system, custom-fit brackets, fittings, air lines, and a no-drill mounting panel for the compressor. The brackets bolt to factory attachment points for a clean fit that cuts down on setup time and keeps each piece where it belongs.
Firestone protects every part of this system against rust and wear. Plated, coated, and brass components hold up through snow, salt, and grime so performance stays consistent season after season. Reinforced rubber bags and tight-sealing fittings help prevent leaks for long-term reliability on any road.
Quality hardware matters when you rely on your suspension every day. This kit includes a limited lifetime warranty on the air bags plus 2-year coverage on the hardware, brackets, fittings, and compressor—giving you dependable support for years of towing and hauling.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Firestone Ride-Rite Airbag kit with easy mount compressor and wireless control. Now, if you're looking to keep your truck level stable and comfortable while you're towing or hauling, this Firestone Airide Ride-Rite kit's gonna be a great option for you to consider. The air springs are custom fit for your particular truck. And it uses precision brackets that are gonna bolt right into the factory mounting points. So what that means for you is no guesswork, or major modifications to your vehicle.
So speaking of fitment, this is designed to work with your 2005 to 2023 Toyota Tacomas. And on custom fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer. Just input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and answer any other questions that it might have for you. And our fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you, or if we have something comparable that will work for you. So this system is going to give you up to 5,000 pounds of additional load leveling support.
That means it's gonna help your rear suspension stay level under those heavy loads, improving handling, braking, and overall stability. However, it is important to note that the airbags don't actually increase your truck's maximum payload, so you still have to stay within the manufacturer's recommended weight limits. But these are going to make hauling and towing safer, more controlled, and more comfortable for you. Now these reinforced rubber airbags and tight ceiling fittings are gonna help prevent leaks, and the plated brass components are gonna resist corrosion. So this whole setup is built to last.
And the included compressor here is compact. This is going to run on your 12 volt power, and this is designed for reliable everyday use. This does not require an air tank, and this also includes a no-drill mounting bracket for the air compressor on your screen. I'm throwing up some photos there. I do kind of have these airbags loosely put together with the custom fit brackets, but you see a better depiction of that on the top image there.
The bottom image shows you what the compressor and the wireless controller's going to look like on the mounting plate there. So I just wanted to give you an idea of what these parts are gonna look like when you begin to put them together. And one of the biggest perks of this kit is going to be the the wireless feature. It's an app based control system, and this is actually the wireless control unit. And so you're gonna be able to inflate or deflate both of the airbags, at the same time from your smartphone. Whether you're inside of the cab of your truck, or you're checking your trailer outside, the pressure's gonna be adjustable 5 to 100 PSI, so you're gonna be able to dial in exactly the support that you need. This is a single path control system, and the Firestone app's gonna be a free download whether you use Android or iOS. So you're gonna download that app, connect it to the system, and you'll be good to go. So this kit includes everything that you see here laid out on my table, along with instructions to guide you through the installation and the operation. If you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this kit, or anything else that we carry here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. If you're looking for any other measurements, or specs, do take a look at this product page, we do have some more information listed there in case you're looking for something. Well, again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
Ratings & Reviews
I like how the Firestone All-in-one comes with everything I needed without needing to piece together a bunch of parts. The best part is that the air bags and the compressor system come in one package, so everything is already matched and ready to install. I still had to mount the compressor myself, but there’s no guesswork on what works with what.
Installation takes a little time, but the bags make a noticeable difference. They level out the truck, cut down on squat, and help everything feel more stable when you’re towing. And with the onboard compressor, I can add or remove air whenever I need, without carrying around a bulky compressor or stopping at the gas station.
It’s a solid, well-built kit that simplifies the whole process. For anyone who tows often and wants a clean, all-in-one solution, it’s a great fit.
So far good
I have not tried with a trailer yet but with no weight the gets rougher if you put more than 6 pounds in them but maybe with more time the springs will soften
