Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this K-Source driver's side, replacement, electric side view mirror with the heat function and the spotter mirror. Now, this is a custom-fit part. It is designed to fit the 2012 and newer Nissan NV 1500, 2500, and 3500 vehicles. And on a custom-fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application.
Now, this side view mirror is a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror that's on your vehicle. You can see it is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. Does offer the power remote capability, means you can adjust your mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. This does offer heated mirror glass, which will clear frost and ice, reduce fogging. And if you look at the bottom here, it includes this spotter mirror to help minimize blind spots.
Now, the glass on this is an OE-grade flat glass with first-surface plating. Reflects clear images. Front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome. And it is a flat lens, which will reflect true representation of the object size. It is a breakaway design, meaning the mirror will fold when it's struck to prevent breakage.
You can see it's a nice durable plastic housing. Has a nice textured black finish to it. And this can be painted to match your vehicle if you needed to. It is an easy, no-drill installation. Has the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror.
And as we've mentioned, you can see this will plug into your existing electrical wiring. Now, this part does replace the original equipment part number of 963021PA9E. It is for a quantity of one driver's side mirror. And one note I do wanna mention on this is the power remote capability and the heated glass of this mirror will work only if your vehicle already has those functions. Excellent as a stock replacement, casting flash shows it is of lower quality than oem but the price reflects that. Took away one star for the cover though. Even though it looks like the factory one from the outside, the mounting tabs are different so I couldn't put my factory painted one on this unit. I will need to have the included cover painted to match - bummer.
