Hello, neighbors. Steve here with etrailer.com. Thank you for joining me. We're gonna take a look today at the replacement lid for your Camco RV polyethylene propane tank covers, and this is gonna be a black cover. Now, again, this will replace the lid for your Camco RV polyethylene propane tank cover, and that is sold separately, you can look that up on our website, but this is basically the top cover that just snaps down inside of that cover that covers your dual tank. Again, it's black in color, it fits dual 20-pound tanks, it is 20 inches long side to side, and this is five inches wide this way.
It is made in the USA. It does come with all the manual hardware included. Now what's interesting on this kit is the way they package it. It's actually been hot-glued here, this bag, so I don't wanna mess with that and take it apart and everything, but you've got all your hardware and stuff to mount it on there, nuts, bolts, screws, that kind of stuff. It's got the nice molded clips on all four sides to make it snap in place for the cover itself.
Well, that's gonna do it for our look at this replacement lid for your Camco RV polyethylene propane tank covers, again, black in color. I'm Steven with etrailer.com. Have a safe travel.

Replaces the lid for Camco RV polyethylene propane tank covers (CAM40521 and CAM40539). Black color.JUST GREAT TO BE ABLE TO GET JUST THE LID FOR THE TANKS COVER
In setting up a new Travel trailer I have purchased from etrailer the following: the camco tank cover, brake controller, back up camera, extension mirrors for my Dodge Ram and other miscellaneous items. Everything I purchased was as advertised and received on time and undamaged. I especially like the technical data on each product and video's showing full specifications and installation procedures.... If your're an Rv'er do buy from any other site. These guys are genuine and I give them 10 stars.
Perfect fit, delivered early, etrailer team kept be updated throughout the whole process.
Fit perfectly on my dual LPG cover
Paula was great and was glad to assist me with what I needed and the part I ordered was what I needed
Fast delivery. Exact product. And additional hardware for other popped rivets on tank cover
Fit exactly as old cover and is working well.
The cover that I ordered fit perfectly and was very easy to install. It was shipped quickly after I ordered it and arrived days earlier than the original estimate. I will recommend trailer.com to all of my friends.
Quick service, good quality and exactly what I needed... Thanks
You guys rock...
We are packed up to go on a two day trip, probably end of the season. I was assuming I wouldn’t get this replacement cover until after we got back. Which is just about when it supposed to rain and snow here in Durango. But your cover arrived early, and was easily installed.
Thanks again for your great service.
It was shipped promptly and it fit. That's all I could ask for.
Excellent service
Works great. Thanks!
The product itself is an exact replacement for the propane cover lid we had before. I can’t give it 5 stars because it is our third one. I check the screws every time we stop, and at lease one has come loose frequently. This is a product that is ready for a design upgrade so that it is not so easy to lose on the highway.
We got it quickly, so thanks etrailer!
Traveling from Indiana to California, I discovered that the Lid for the Propane Tank Cover had flown off on some highway somewhere ... lol. Can I say that I have never included checking that the Lid was secure as part of my checklist prior to hitting the road?
Upon my arrival in California, I found that etrailer.com carried the exact part I needed and I was able to order the part online. The turn-around time from order to delivery was pretty darn quick and I couldn't be happier! The Lid fits perfectly, PLUS, I now have some extra hardware should I lose a cap or a screw.
Thank you etrailer.com for checking in with me to ensure delivery as well as customer satisfaction. You delivered exactly as promised!!!

If it were the Energizer Bunny, Id beusing the familiar cliche of it keeps on ticking! Nary a problem. Thanks again!!
Product arrived as described. It replaced the original propane tank valve cover that fell off while traveling. Unfortunately, the new one came off while driving also even though it was properly secured. I had to buy another one and this time I have it held on with a bungee cord. Problem solved.

Since I drilled 2 holes in the cover and added a bungee cord all is well. Don’t trust the cover to stay on without addition security.

Working fine with the bungee cord holding it in place.
As usual, etrailer delivered promptly and correctly the new cover for the propane tanks of our camper; the old cover was blown off while driving and lost; thanks!

Great
Worked perfect on my 2013 Open Range bunk house
Lost my Camco tank cover after checking propane valves for a ferry crossing and leaving the cover unsecured. I was very happy to find that e-trailer carried a replacement. The color, fit and quality was a perfect match.
Really easy to order and great communications with the team at etrailer. They let you know what was happening each step of the way from ordering, picking the product, to shipping. Would definitely order from them again!
Have a twin 20 # propane cover. As others, I checked lid before leaving camping spot. Of course that evening discovered the lid was missing. Will agree with other reviewers that this in due for a redesign at some point. The cover was nondescript and did not have the Camco name anywhere on it. Took a chance and ordered the replacement lid - it was a perfect match. Not going to be doing this route again. There are two small rectangular holes on the hinge side of the cover. Measured and created a mirror image of the holes and marked on the new lid. Drilled a 9/32 hole and used 2 zip ties to form a loose hinge with the knuckle of the zip tie on the inside. May come loose in the future, but I'm not about to lose another!
That storage box fits great and that tank cover looks great
Fits perfect. All I needed was the flap or door on top of the cover to access the valves. We have two 30 pound propane tanks. Lost the flap to the tanks on our last trip. Blew off some how. A common problem. I'm going to secure it more permanent by drilling a few holes and using zip ties so it can't blow off again. Check out [online videos].
I’ll write an update after I fit and use. This is the second one I’ve ordered. Have had two blow off even though thumb knobs are tight. Going to try reinforcing with a bungee cord.

This time, the propane lid has stayed on, so perhaps this one is better than the two before?
