When only the upper flat glass is cracked and your mirror head is still usable, replacing the full mirror assembly adds work and parts you're not trying to touch. This Burco Redi Cuts piece replaces just the RV side view mirror glass, restoring the damaged viewing surface without swapping the full OEM mirror assembly. Once the broken glass is addressed, your existing mirror body can keep doing its job while you get a clear reflection back in that upper section.
The upper mirror section matters most when you need a direct look at traffic, lane position, and what's behind a large vehicle. This replacement uses an upper flat surface, so the repair brings back the main viewing area from that upper glass section. After it's installed, you can use that section again for checking rearward traffic, setting your lane changes, and judging distance behind you.
Mirror glass repairs go sideways fast when the replacement is even slightly off, so the size needs to match before anything gets installed. This drop-fit glass is specified at 11-3/8" tall x 8-5/8" wide x 12-5/8" diagonal, with the longest diagonal measured from the inside upper corner to the outside lower corner. After confirming those measurements against your mirror glass, the replacement can fit into the correct upper mirror space and put that viewing surface back in use.
Replacing mirror glass often means working near old adhesive, cracked pieces, and tight mirror openings, so the edge finish matters during the repair. Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Burco Redi Cuts RV Side Mirror Replacement Glass. Now folks, this fits lots of different options of motorhomes, RVs and those kind of things so make sure you're checking the fit guide over at etrailer.com to be sure you're getting the right parts for your specific set up and also double check the dimensions as well. So that's the number one thing that I recommend is that you go by dimensions. As you can see, it's very, very reflective, you can see me, the cameras and the room, the lights and everything so it has a very nice reflective surface. It does have rounded edges so it's not sharp, it's very safe to hold and as far as measurement, you wanna measure the height.
So I've got 11 and 3/8" tall. The width, at the widest point, that being the bottom I got eight and 5/8 and then on a diagonal corner to corner, I got 12 and 5/8". Now they give you some different foam here with adhesive on the back, they give you a little suction cup that's to help hold it, to help push it in place where you need to when you install it. You get the little plastic mounting bracket here, along with this double-sided adhesive here, this round disc as well for installation as well. So those two are gonna be pairing together along with those foam pads, again check the install instructions that come with it, make sure you understand what you're doing when you're installing this.
It's a pretty quick and easy DIY replacement, it's an exact fit and it has been designed to replace those factory mirrors. Again, saving you lots of money, cause now you can just replace that broken or cracked glass you don't have to get a full OEM mirror assembly which can be very high cost to you.
