When only the lower convex glass is cracked and your mirror head is still usable, replacing a full mirror assembly adds work and parts you are not trying to touch. This Burco Redi Cuts piece replaces just the side view mirror glass, restoring visibility without replacing the full OEM mirror assembly. You get the broken surface addressed directly, and your existing mirror body can keep doing its job on the road.
The lower mirror section matters when you need a wider look along the side of your RV or large vehicle. This replacement uses a lower convex surface, so the repair brings back the wide-angle view from that lower glass section. Once installed, you can use that lower mirror area again for checking nearby traffic, lane position, and close-side clearance.
Mirror glass repairs go sideways fast when the replacement is even slightly off, so the size needs to match before anything gets installed. This drop-fit glass is specified at 4-15/16" tall x 6-7/8" wide x 7-7/8" diagonal, with the longest diagonal measured from the inside upper corner to the outside lower corner. After confirming those measurements against your mirror glass, the replacement can fit into the correct lower mirror space and put that viewing surface back in use.
Replacing mirror glass often means working near old adhesive, cracked pieces, and tight mirror openings, so the edge finish matters during the repair. Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at our Burco Redi Cut RV Side Mirror Replacement Glass. Now folks, this is a custom fit application, so make sure you're double checking your measurements and the fit guide here at etrailer to be sure you're getting the right parts for the right RV the first time. Now, what I like about this is you're gonna save a lot of money by not having to buy that full OEM assembly. This has been compatibility design.
It is a non-heated OE mirror, so it's just the glass. There's no heater or anything. You have these six round discs and those have adhesive on the back as well as being padded, and that's gonna aid in the installation. So make sure you're double checking the install instructions that come with it. To measure, you wanna go height, so I got 4 and 15/16 tall.
The widest part was 6 and 7/8 inches wide. Keep in mind, this is curved, so make sure you're just being very close to those measurements. If you have like a seamstress, those, you know, kind of cloth rulers that roll up, that's probably gonna be the best thing to get around that curve and get a more accurate measurement. And then diagonally across, same thing, tip to tip, I got 7 and 7/8 inches. So again, folks, this is a DIY replacement.
It is an exact fit. It's gonna replace that factory mirror. It has nice smooth edges, and as you saw it gives you a nice clean and clear reflection. You can see the whole studio there. So this is the Burco Redi Cut RV Side Mirror Replacement Glass.
