The Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar ties the front axle to the chassis to balance weight transfer and cut down body roll. The 1-5/8" diameter 4140 chromoly steel bar adds serious torsional stiffness, keeping the rig level and planted when you’re maneuvering through curves or quick lane changes.
Crosswinds and passing trucks don’t have to push you around. This bar minimizes side-to-side sway by using the front axle as a brace against the frame, so steering corrections are smaller and more predictable. The result is steadier tracking and a more relaxed drive even when the wind picks up or the road surface is uneven.
A stable front end makes hours behind the wheel easier. By keeping everything level and reducing lean, this setup helps you hold your line with less effort. That means less white-knuckle driving through gusty stretches or busy highways, and more confidence staying centered in your lane mile after mile.
This isn’t basic mild steel or soft rubber. The bar is made from thick 4140 chromoly steel—tougher than standard 1020 steel—for superior strength and about 30% better resistance to sway. At each mounting point, polyurethane bushings replace standard rubber ones, resisting damage from oil, gasoline, and ozone while keeping their shape for consistent support over time.
No need to modify anything to get better handling. The system includes heavy-gauge mounting hardware, bushing lubricant, and clear instructions. It bolts straight onto the existing frame and axle without drilling, so you can spend less time wrenching and more time enjoying a steadier ride.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar. Now this is a custom fit car. It is designed to fit the 2008 to 2009 Sterling Bullet 4500 and 5500 trucks. Also fits the 2008 to 2012 Dodge Ram and Ram 4500 and 5500 trucks. And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show this will work for your application.
Now this sway bar's gonna minimize side to side movement, improves overall stability of your vehicle. This will replace the factory's front sway bar. This is gonna let you execute turns and quick maneuvers with confidence. Allows for a nice level ride even on irregular surfaces. And it'll even help reduce driver fatigue 'cause it's gonna minimize the effort that's required to keep your vehicle in line.
This part will include everything laid out here on the table. It includes this anti-sway bar. The heavy gauge mounting brackets will come with it, polyurethane bushings, and even some bushing lubricant when you go to install this. Now the bar itself has constructed of a thick 4140 chrome moley steel for superior strength. The diameter on this bar is 1 5/8 inches.
Now this will diminish the effects of any crosswinds, passing motorist, shifting cargo. As we mentioned, it is designed to fit your vehicle, work in conjunction with its suspension system. Basically, it'll attach to the front axle and to the chassis, and then it uses the weight of the axle to brace your frame as it shifts and turns. And it also is engineered to avoid interference with most of your popular aftermarket add-ons and accessories. Now we did mention the bushings.
Lemme just zoom in here. These are made with the polyurethane bushings instead of the standard rubber variety for a lot longer lasting system. The polyurethane itself is durable, resistant to damage can be caused by oil, gas, and ozone. And of course, less wear is gonna mean less give in the system and better support. I have taken a few trips with the Clatter Cabin now. It’s been enjoyable to drive. Since then I have replaced the exhaust from the engine back with 2 12 inch pipe. I was able to get the pre bent exhaust parts over the axle and clear your rear sway bar nicely. Now she purrrrs!

After a year and many miles I would give it a five star for sure. Made a great improvement over the stock anti-sway bar. With the rear and front RoadMaster anti-sway along with the RoadMaster steering stabilizer the E-450 33 foot class C motorhome drives like a dream. I highly recommend these three products. If not all at once then this order, 1st rear anti sway bar then 2nd front and then the steering stabilizer with the spring on it.

The two Roadmastercsway bars weve been using continue to impress and perform like they did on day one. Driving back across the country with some days having stiff criswinds continually we rode comfortably and never had handling or steering issues. I remain adamant that these are undoubtedly the best products on the market for this application and welcome any questions. For reference my truck is a 2018 F350 crew cab DRW, 6.7 diesel 4x4 long bed with Bigfoot 3000 series truck camper. Get the Roadmasters!

This is a complete game changer when using a truck camper Mine is an Arctic Fox 990. I would list this under a must have accessory when using a truck camper. Unloaded ride when you hit off camber bumps is slightly rougher, but hey its a Ram 3500 dually for hauling heavy stuff. Also the performance when carving twisty canyons with an empty truck is astonishing....Watch out Corvetts, here I come!
