I was disappointed because I purchased the hood due to my light going out in the hood that was the original Hood with my Lance travel trailer. The light on This Hood that I purchased with you went out within a few months. The fan works fine but it's a poor design to not be able to change out the light if it goes out. So I'm now using these light pucks that have to be recharged after using them for a couple of hours.

This hood fit our Lance 1985 perfectly. It is much better than the original, brighter light, better fan.
Purchased to replace 20 inch ducted High Pointe fan/light range hood in Lance 1685 trailer after plastic light fixture came loose due to heat exposure and replacement parts were not available. As advertised,this unit was easily installed with no additional modifications needed using the provided instruction sheet. The light is plenty bright and the fan is quiet with good air flow to the outside. I notice however that the lens covering the LED light board which faces down over the burners appears to be plastic and am wondering how well it can resist heat when the stove top is in use. I intend to go camping for a week soon and will report back with an evaluation of the light function when cooking. Unit arrived well packaged and on time. I especially appreciate order processing and delivery updates every step of the way.
This was an easy to install replacement and was pleased it is both quieter and the light brighter than the old one.
It serves the purpose. Not to noisy and we have it vented to the outside. Is it the best quality? Eh but couldn’t find anything else.
Installed in my Minnie Winnie. Had to do some minor workarounds to get it to fit where the old one came out, but it's great. Powerful fan. I also wired a couple of extra LED lamps in it before mounting. The one that comes with it isn't super bright.
Item delivered has different dimensions than the one I thought I was ordering. I hope it fits!
The light is so bright a d the fan works great. Problem solved. Well worth the money. E-trailer is a great source for rv supplies. Very reliable.
Vast improvement over the original installed hood. This fan exhaust assembly is much better engineered and quieter.

These things are OK for what they are, they work... but are cheaply made, not very efficient at exhausting smoke and fumes due to design, and leave lots to be desired in the lighting department. Add one weak and noisy fan to an orifice so much lower than the umbrella that it is mounted in, a lot of fumes can escape. I sealed up all the seams with silicone and did my best to seal my custom duct as well. I added and wired in two additional led lights directly into the fan wiring so 3 lights total come on when the switch is flicked. The overall problem is that the market options for a quality, super efficient above stove vacuum just seems to not exist. I have made due but would have to design and build my own unit to get what I really want out of an exhaust fan for my rv. Take a fantastic fan and the hood - if
they had a baby it would be the perfect exhaust fan !!
A big improvement over my (20-year old) unit, which had a dim bulb and a noisy fan. This hood was easy to install and looks good. Importantly, the corners are nice and rounded - hoods that stick out into the room with sharp corners are begging to rip up a hand.
Very quiet. Great lighting. Fits perfectly. Glad we spent the extra dollars to get this one. The quality of the products that we have been getting from etrailer has been great. Thank you.
Looks great. Would have liked a little more powerful exhaust fan. I replaced the Baraldi range hood that came with our Airstream as the fan would turn off if we used more than one burner. Hopefully the Ventline will perform better.
