Features to know about

Comfort and Simplicity for the Long Haul

seated DOM57FR

If you're on the road for weeks at a time, you need more than a weekend toilet. The PowerMax 310 is built for part-time RVers who want comfort and durability without the extra weight. A full-height seat makes it easier on your knees, and the ceramic bowl wipes down fast with less effort. You also get a soft-close lid that brings a little peace and quiet to your bathroom routine, and helps avoid waking the family when nature calls before sunrise. If your RV bathroom's already a tight squeeze, the round bowl helps save space. It's a solid upgrade if your current toilet feels too flimsy, cramped, or noisy.

Easier to Clean Than Plastic Bowls

A ceramic toilet bowl saves time and effort on cleanup. The glazed finish creates a smooth, non-porous surface that resists stains and odors better than plastic. It brushes out clean without scuffing or scratching, so your bathroom stays fresher with less scrubbing. Want to make cleanup even easier? This toilet is compatible with a hand sprayer kit (DOM75FR, sold separately).

Measure to Fit

RV toilet rough in measurement

To make sure this toilet fits your RV, measure from the wall to the center of the floor flange. This is the rough-in measurement and you'll need at least 10" for a proper fit. If your current toilet is still installed, you can measure from the wall to the mounting bolts for a good estimate of the flange location. Just keep in mind that an offset flange or a 4-bolt toilet can throw off this measurement, so if you're not sure, removing the old toilet is the best way to double-check before you order.

  • Replacement Toilet Recommendation For A SeaLand Model 210
For your SeaLand Model 210, I recommend the Dometic 310 Part-Timer RV Toilet # DOM57FR as a replacement over the Dometic 320 Full-Timer RV Toilet # DOM87FR that you mention. The Dometic 310 Part-Timer RV Toilet # DOM57FR features a slow-close lid, a sturdy ceramic design, and a 2 bolt installation that will fit most floor flanges. Additionally, the 310 Part-Timer # DOM57FR has a rough-in measurement of 10" compared to # DOM87FR which has a rough-in measurement of 11".

  • Does Dometic Make a Slow Close Lid for a Dometic 320 Full Timer
Hey Russell, unfortunately there is no slow close lid for the Dometic Full Timer 320. What you'd have to do is replace the toilet with the Dometic 310 Part-Timer # DOM57FR. I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but unfortunately since Dometic does not make one, your only choice is to swap it out. If there is anything else I can do to help, please feel free to drop a comment and let me know!

Hey Jeff, yes the Dometic 311 part # DOM67FR and the 310 part # DOM57FR will install in place of a 210 without any modification since like you said they both have the same rough in dimension. These come with new gaskets as well and everything needed to install.

  • Best Replacement for a Dometic 300 Toilet
Hey Renee, thanks for the picture. There are no ceramic Dometic 300 toilets, just polypropylene like item # DOM64FR. If you have the extra 1-1/2" of space, the best option to replace a Dometic 300 toilet is with the Dometic 310 Part-Timer RV Toilet item # DOM57FR. The 300 only requires a rough in of 8-1/2" while the Dometic 310 Toilet item # DOM57FR needs a 10" rough in measurement. You will need to measure the distance from the wall behind your toilet to the center of the toilet flange....

  • What is the Difference Between the Dometic 310 RV Toilet and Dometic 311 RV Toilet
The main difference between the Dometic 310 Part-Timer RV Toilet # DOM57FR and the Dometic 311 Part-Timer RV Toilet # DOM67FR is that the 310 is standard height (20" tall) and the 311 is a low profile (15-1/2" tall). Both toilets will mount the same and have predominantly the same features. There are a few other small measurement difference but none as big as the height difference. 310 Measurements: Overall dimensions: 18-1/2" long x 15" wide x 20" tall Seat length: 15-1/4" Seat thickness:...

  • Are There Any Slow-Close Seat/Lids Available For A Dometic 300 Series RV Toilet
Hey Tim, There unfortunately isn't a slow close seat option for Dometic's 300 series RV toilets. You would need to swap out the 300 series toilet for one of Dometic's other series that does have a compatible slow close lid like the 310 # DOM57FR, which would come with a slow-close lid. The seats/lids are all series specific and come in varying sizes so they unfortunately aren't as interchangeable.

Hello Donald, thanks for reaching out. The Dometic 310 toilet is only available with a standard seat like part # DOM57FR. There is no elongated seat version. If your rough-in measurement is only 10", you would have to stick with the 310 model with the standard seat.

  • Replacing Sealand SC111 With Dometic 310 or 311 in 2008 Fleetwood Southwind
Hey Robert! You will need the Dometic RV Toilet Floor Flange Adapter Kit # DOM73FR to install the Dometic toilet where the Sealand was. As far as the height is concerned, are you happy with the current toilet height? If you want the taller Dometic 310 RV Toilet # DOM57FR, and the space isn't an issue, it is perfectly fine. Otherwise, the 311 # DOM67FR would be a closer match. The main thing is that you make sure your rough-in measurement is at least 10" for the toilet to fit. Keep in...

  • Can Flush Ball be Replaced on a Dometic 310 RV Toilet
Hey Scott, thanks for reaching out! The Dometic 310 toilets unfortunately don't have a way to replace the flush ball so you'll need to either replace your toilet with another 310, which we have in both Tan Ceramic # DOM37FR and White Ceramic # DOM57FR, or if you have an 11" rough-in you can use the Dometic 510 # DOM29FR instead because it has a replacement flush ball # DOM68FR if you need to replace it at a later point in time. The # DOM57FR requires 10" of space from the flange bolts back to the wall. I've attached a little diagram below showing how to measure for the rough-in as well.

  • Replacement For Dometic Sealand 210 Toilet in 5th Wheel Trailer
Hello Theresa, What you have is a Dometic Sealand 210 toilet, and what I recommend is the Dometic 310: - Dometic 310 Part-Timer RV Toilet # DOM57FR I like the # DOM57FR due to its slow close lid and efficiency as it uses just 1 pint of water per flush; you'll want to take note of the dimensions, which are 18-1/2" long x 15" wide x 20" tall. Also, this toilet requires a minimum of 10 inches from the wall to the center of the flange on which the toilet will sit in order have enough room...

  • Looking for Replacement Toilet for 2017 Aspen Trail 2460RLS
Hey Alisa, in order to pick out the correct replacement toilet you'd need to first get the rough in measurement of your current flange. This is the distance from the center of the flange to the wall. For a smaller toilet it's probably the small 7-5/8 inch dimension which would require the Thetford Aqua-Magic VI Part-Timer RV Toilet # TH97SE but I would recommend checking your measurement first.
