Video Transcript for Review of Lippert RV Showers and Tubs - Bathtub - LC53JK

Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Today, we're looking at this Lippert RV bathtub. It uses a right-hand drain, and it's gonna measure 54 inches across on the length and 27 inches deep from the front to the back. So if you've like me and you've ever used a cramped RV tub, you know just how often they feel more functional than comfortable, right So obviously, a big fell like myself getting into something like this, even the one at this size is gonna be a little hard for me, but, again, I'm just a bigger guy, but for most people, this is actually a pretty big upgrade compared to most of the tubs that are out there in your RVs and in your showers, and I wanna point out from the beginning, you do get this trim piece here. I'm gonna take this back over here and just kind of get it out of the way, but that does come with it. Now, this model, like I mentioned before, features a right-hand drain configuration.

So this is gonna make it a direct replacement for many existing RV tubs without requiring any kind of major modifications and those kind of things, and I do want to go ahead and show you that this does have the front apron on here as well. It's a one-piece construction. You would pair this with a shower surround, sold separately, but if you already have that, you just need to replace the tub, great, this is a great option for you, and I do wanna kind of flip it up. Once you can kind of see a little better inside here, I don't know why you can see with the light, and it's white, but there is a textured kind of grip that's molded into the tub. So like I said, it's molded in there.

It's not those stick on ones that you see. You could potentially add some of those if you think you would need 'em, but I think this is great. There's that standard-sized hole. You got a couple ribs here and here for your soaps and whatnot, and then I do wanna go ahead and fully flip this over as well so we can take a look at the base. So a lot of people don't realize these come with this rigid foam, and you can kind of see the makeup of that in here, and that's done on purpose, one, it dampen sound, two, it gives it a nice solid platform to sit on, and it's gonna take a lot of the abuse, believe it or not, as this.

So this is a great base that you're definitely gonna want in there. Like I said, a lot of people just don't realize that that does need to stay on there, and it is part of the integrity of the whole tub, believe it or not. There we go. So again, folks, a lot of you, this is the one place that starts to show its age is your bathroom, so upgrading it to a residential style tub like this can help refresh that space while also adding a little touch of comfort functionality, those kind of things. I mentioned that drain, it's a three-and-a-half-inch, and it's on the right-hand side, and, once again, it's a fully integrated apron on the front along with the trim piece that's included.

This is the Lippert RV bathtub with the right-hand drain. I'm Steve with etrailer. Thanks for watching.
