Textured floor on this RV bathtub gives you a better grip while stepping in and out of the tub. Built-in soap dishes keep bars of soap or shampoo bottles close at hand, and the ventilation ridges let water and suds drain into the tub.

Specs:
This bathtub will replace your old, cracking tub so you can take a relaxing soak after a fun day of hiking and swimming. You can put bars of soap or shampoo bottles on the 2 built-in soap dishes along the flat, outer ledge and be able to grab them quickly while you're bathing. When those suds do drain into the tub, the textured floor will help prevent you from slipping and falling as you step in and out, and the 3-sided tile flange will help prevent water from being splashed behind the tub and causing water damage to the wall.
This bathtub easily replaces or upgrades your existing RV tub or shower pan with a left-hand side drain hole setup. Brackets and a floor flange are included, but mounting hardware is not included. After the floor or pedestal has been cleaned of debris, set the bathtub in place, making sure the pre-installed foam base is sitting securely and evenly. This foam base supports the bathtub so it won't crack over time, and it'll dampen the sound of the tub filling up with water. Once the bathtub has been installed, it is compatible with any standard 2" drain strainers.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Better Bath RV bathtub with left-hand drain. Now, this bathtub is going to replace your old or cracking tub in your RV or camper bathroom so you can take a relaxing soak after a fun day of hiking or swimming. And this tub is going to fit your left-hand drain setup and we'll take a look at that in just the next minute or so. And if you notice here, this does have a three-sided flange that's going to help prevent water from seeping behind the tub and potentially damaging your wall.
I do want to walk out here just a little bit from behind the tub and tip this over just to show you that we do have a foam base here at the bottom. So, that is a preinstalled 3 3/4 inch thick foam base that's going to provide support to prevent this tub from cracking, but it's also going to help dampen the sound of your tub filling with water. It's also going to be great in case you might be standing up in this. Maybe take a shower and you drop something and it hits the floor of the tub, that foam is going to do a great job of dampening that sound. Now, let's take a look at the inside of this tub from overhead.
Now, this tub has a textured anti-slip floor that's going to give you better traction. So, I realize it's probably kind of hard to actually see that texture from that angle, but I'm just kind of running my fingernails across that. Hopefully, you can hear that sound. And so, this is not an uncomfortable texture. I think this is going to give you just enough traction while you're standing up in this tub.
Whether you're showering or you're getting out, I think it's going to give you just enough confidence that you're gonna be able to stand here and not have any concern about slipping or anything like that when this floor is wet. We also have two built-in soap dishes here and that's going to allow you to quickly grab soap or shampoo bottles. And also, we have these ventilation ridges in these soap dishes here that's going to allow the water and suds to drain back into the tub. This is made here in the USA of a durable, scratch resistant ABS thermoplastic polymer construction. And this has an almond color finish and the best way I can describe it is it's kind of a tan, maybe a beige color.
And this thermoplastic polymer construction is lighter and more environmentally friendly than fiberglass. This is gonna be an easy bolt-on installation. You are going to get some brackets to help you with the installation process. And also a floor flange, if you see that strip right there at the front of this tub. And I do want to point out that this does not include any mounting hardware so just be aware of that. This is QAI certified. And the overall dimensions to help you determine if this is going to be a great fit for you, I am including a diagram on your screen to walk you through those dimensions. So as you can see, beginning with the exterior dimensions, this is 54 inches long and almost 27 inches wide. About 26 3/4 inches wide. And then the overall depth that I don't have listed there is 17 inches deep overall. Now, taking a look at the interior dimensions, this is about 48 1/2 inches long and 21 3/4 inches wide. And the depth is 11 3/4 inches deep from right where this begins to flare out. Measuring up to that height there. So, about 11 3/4 inches deep. Our drain hole is two inches and the distance from the drain hole to the closest edge is about 7 1/2 inches. And then measuring from the center of the drain hole to the sides, we are sitting right at about 12 inches. And then finally, measuring from the center of the drain hole to the farthest edge, we're sitting right at 46 inches. So again, this is for a left-hand drain setup. But if you are looking for a right-hand drain setup, we do carry that tub as well. And on your screen, I am including our item number to that right-hand drain tub. And again, everything will be the same, just except for the position of that drain hole. I did fail to mention that this does include an instruction sheet with some step by step instructions on helping you install this. And that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
