To install, use the inlet shanks to drop the new valve and deck plate in place of your existing valve. Hand-tighten the included hardware against the back of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. Then install the shower head onto your shower supply line. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're taking a look at this Empire Faucets dual knob shower valve with shower head kit in chrome. This is going to be a great option for you if you're looking to update the shower valve and shower head in your RV, or in your camper, or in your mobile home and you want that nice chrome finish. Let's take a closer look at it together. So, what we have here is a dual handle shower valve, and these handles are jewelite knob handles, they're plastic.
And they are on one quarter turn cartridge stems, and that's gonna enable the faucet to fully turn on and off. And the washerless design reduces friction and daily wear for long-lasting durability. Now, this is a non-metallic ABS plastic construction with a chrome finish. And whereas the chrome finish is very attractive, just be aware that it does collect fingerprints and smudges and you'll wanna wipe it down regularly just to maintain that nice chrome shine. Now, this is an easy, wall-mount, three-hole installation.
The shower head, arm, and the flange are included. And the deck plate and mounting hardware are included for this shower valve. This is ADA compliant. And just some measurements for you, the base here is gonna be sitting right at 10 1/4 inches long. And the height is gonna be sitting right at 2 1/4 inches tall.
And then the base of the, the shower valve just by itself is gonna be measuring 7/8 of an inch. But if you include the handles from where it's gonna be mounted on your shower wall, all the way out to the end of the handle, that's gonna be 2 7/8 inches deep altogether, including that handle. Now, the shower head diameter and, by the way, this shower head is adjustable as you can see here, the shower head diameter is gonna be right around 1 7/8 inches across. And then measuring this from the wall that you have this mounted on, all the way to the end of the shower head itself, that's gonna be about 6 1/4 inches long. By the way, this face plate is removable for easy cleaning, and this is just a one setting sprayer.
And the maximum flow rate of this shower head is gonna be 2.5 gallons per minute. And then the distance between the shank inlets are eight inches. And this does have a limited lifetime warranty. Now, again, this is entirely plastic. Great product I'm replacing the plastic version of this same valve and it's definitely a 100% improvement over the original plastic and highly recommend it.

I just needed the shower faucet for an outdoor shower/sprayer setup as the old one was cracked and leaking (did not need the shower head).The new shower faucet worked well and the specs were stated accurately on the site. Installation went smoothly except my old faucet had an offset shower feed inlet while this new one had the shower inlet in line with the hot and cold inlets. So, it was just a matter of some adjustments on the wall panel to make the straight line inlets install. The faucet alone was worth the price yet it came with the shower head too. It's all plastic but I didn't expect metal for the price point. Basically a lot of value if you are just looking to get the job done without the frills.
Looked like it wasn't going to come. It did but was 3 days late but that stuff happens.
