Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Valterra waste valve extension tube with handle. Now, this 24-inch long extension tube is going to make it easier to reach your waste valve handle. This aluminum tube is going to thread onto the waste valve shaft. And this extension is going to adjust two inches with the threaded stud. And of course, the handle is included.

This is the direct replacement from Valterra, so you can trust that this is going to fit right in place. The Valterra 24 inch extension tube w/handle has worked well and was easy to install, it's been on our rig for about a year. I used this extension on the black tank dump valve to make it easier to reach.

    Yes, the handle of the Valterra waste valve, part # T1003VP, does unscrew so it can be replaced or extended. We have several different lengths of extended rods that fit: 8 inches, # TX8HPB 9 inches, # TX9HPB 24 inches, # TX24HPB 32 inches, # TX32HPB 36 inches, # TX36HPB We also have a kit, part # T1046-12VP, that includes 2 adjustable rods so you can extend the handles between 6-8 inches with one or 9-11 inches with the other.   • Do You Carry The Grand Design 48" Sewer Valve Extension Item 310091?
    I can only find the same information Grand Design gave you for the sewer extension rod. As we do not have a 48" extension or the part numbers they gave you you may be able to use 2 of the 24" Extensions # TX24HPB. This has the male threaded end for the handle side and female threaded end which attaches to the sewer valve.

    I do have a suggestion which will make things easier for you. You can use the Valterra Waste Valve Extension Tube # TX32HPB which is 32" long with a 24" Extension # TX24HPB to give you a 56" total extension. This will eliminate the need to cut the Extension Rod for LaSalle Bristol Waste Valve # 34466SP116734 and then tap the aluminum tubing. Both the Valterra and LaSalle use 1/4" MPT threads for their extensions and handles.

    The Valterra Bladex 1-1/2" Diameter Waste Valve # T1001VP and the 24" Extension Tube # TX24HPB would be all that you need for the setup you're looking for. The waste valve isn't available with this length extension tube already attached. On the Valterra Waste Valve the existing rod can simply be unscrewed from the main housing and the new threaded 24" extension would be screwed onto the unit in its place.
