5" Long adapter extends the connection point on your black-water waste valve for easier access. Bayonet end connects to waste valve, and lug fitting end connects to hose - no clamps needed. Clear plastic shows when tank is empty.

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Clearview RV Sewer Drain Extension. If your drain hose connection is in a hard to reach area that doesn't give enough room to connect your hose, then an extension is just what need. This is going to extend your drain hose connection to a more convenient position. It's going to offer five inches of extension. If measure from this lip here, to this lip here, that's going to give us a measurement of right on five inches. It's clear, so that way you can know when your tank is clean. Just keep an eye on the water that's coming through the extension and you'll know when your tanks are clean.
This will fit your standard three inch tank and drain hose fittings. You can leave the fitting attached to your drain hose, or to the tank fitting if desired. It does have an attachment point located right here for attaching a tether that would be connected to a drip cap, or an end cap. The connection point right here, this is a four style bayonet hook attachment. This would just go on, rotate it into position for a nice, tight, secure fit. It's the internal seal that's going to offer leak proof performance.
It's a nice, strong, durable design. Can't really flex it, and overall, it's just a nice, strong, durable unit that's going to last you a long time. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra Clearview RV Sewer Drain Extension.

This Clearview is necessary to know when your tanks are clean and finished emptying. After one year it is still as clear as the day I bought it. If it ever gets to the point that can’t see what is going through it, I will buy another one.

It is heart for reviewing how clean the rising is doing after dumping the black and gray water tanks
I needed to extend the black and gray water waste pipe on my trailer. I went to another site and found what I needed, how ever I use a Chrome extension called PriceBlink Coupons and Price Comparison, it told me that etrailer had the same parts but were cheaper. I bought the parts from them, and shipping was fast. I'm a happy camper.

This clear extension is an RV must have. Draining the sewer line is essential but it’s also important to see and know what’s coming out of the holding tanks and that’s what this clear extension does.

This clear Valtera valve is a must have. It’s solidly built and will probably last forever. I highly recommend this product.
Can see what is going on
I wanted to permanently install sewer lines to my camper. I ordered two products from etrailer.com first was the bayonet to 3" PVC fitting which was exactly the part for the job. When I did not align the piping correctly with the sewer line going into the ground (tank) I had a drip while dropping grey and black water, so I had to order a 5" bayonet on one end and lugs on the other end fitting to get the sewer line straight.
I didn't even know this fitting existed, but working with Reesa, we found exactly what I needed.

it is what I wanted and needed and it w orks!!!
Both the extension and the 90 degree rounded connection were perfect for my RV. A 90 degree squared off connection from my RV sewage connection just would not fit through the hole. This rounded connection with the extension is just what I needed to connect my sewage to any RV parks that I might visit. Perfect combination.
It may help be see if there is any residue before I open and connect the hose
