Sanitary wye connects to black-water and gray-water waste valves to combine them into one pipe. 3" Rotating flange connects to black-water valve. 1-1/2" Rotating flange connects to gray-water valve. Hose connects to 3" lug fitting.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra RV Reducing Y. This fitting is going to get installed in a RV sewer drain system. It's going to combine both the black tank and the grey tank pipes to one outlet. The unit is made from a durable black plastic construction. This point right here, this is going to feature a rotating flange that would get connected to a three-inch valve. The rotating design is really nice and allows you to position the valve in the position that you need it to work best for your application. Now your mount holes, right here, on the rotating valve portion of the flange, those are going to be separated on center by about 3 3/4 of an inch.
This point, right here, is where it would get attached to an 1 1/2 valve which would go to the grey water portion of the RV's drainage system. Mount hole separation for this flange, again this is going to be a rotating flange as well, hole separation on that one is going to be about 2 7/16 of an inch. Right here, this going to be the outlet for the two tanks that would come in. This is going to be your main outlet. This is a three-inch bayonet design. It's got the four-pin attachment design.
It will accept the standard three-inch bayonet style fitting whether it's a two hook or four hook. Outer diameter is going to measure right on 3 1/2 inches. I also want to point out that located right here is going to be a little nib, or a little pin, that's a connection point that allows a cap with a tether strap to be installed into the unit. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra RV Reducing Y.

Wrong product for my application. Look close on your existing "reducing Y" for a manufacturer's part number. I found one after removing the old and have re-ordered.
