Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra RV Waste Valve. This unit simply adds or replaces a waste valve in your RV's waste system. It's made from a strong and durable black plastic construction. The valve is going to feature a 2" hub located on each side, so it's a hub, hub design. The internal diameter of that hub is about 2-3/8". It's going to be the same on both sides. This is a 2" Blade X valve.
It's got the easily accessible T-handle, makes opening and closing the gate quick and easy. Color of the handle is black. The unit is already assembled, it's going to feature all of the appropriate seals for a leak-proof performance. With the handle closed the overall measurement from bottom to top is around 7-5/8", with it open that extends the overall measurement to about 10-1/4". That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra RV Waste Valve.

Ratings & Reviews
Works perfectly for our motorhome. Great product.
Fast shipping and everything seem to work great.
Fit perfect & was made heavier, better quality, than the one I replaced it with.
I purchased 4 gate valves for a home-made pond filter system (the MK-2 from England). They have worked as advertised. I have had to re-apply some additional rubber caulking due to a tiny leak (not due to the gate valve). Otherwise, no complaint. If I've ever the need, I'll probably look to this gate valve again in future.
The valve arrived as promised in excellent condition. The valve was made of heavy duty material and fit perfectly.
Easy ordering, good price, good quality and quick delivery. I will purchase from them again and recommend them to others. I am very pleased.
poor quality, leaked from day one
Thanks, these valves are working great. Just what I needed.
I use this for a vacuum system on CNC machine. Works great!

Awesome! Replaced broken valve! Excellent Quality. Would buy again!
When I designed my 320ft2 Tiny House on Wheels I used 2"PVC for my main gray water drain line. This quality Valterra valve has been in service for a year now and works a good as it did from day 1. It is installed in the basement of the tiny with my water filters, hot water heater and solar generator, and is connected directly to a 2" PVC pipe that runs out the bottom of the house directly to the sewer.
I looked all over the web for this complete unit. Seems 2 inch waste drains are not easy to come by. Most companies want to sell you this valve in 3 separate parts. etrailer had the part and it's cost was $x cheaper than the other guys. Looks to be good quality too.

This valve is holding up well. Always works nice and smooth and still isnt leaking, when I pull my travel cap its always dry.
We have a unusual application for these valves. We use them to empty the water out of sample drawers that we use to bring up deep sea animals and rock samples etc.. The drawer in the photo holds 50 gallons of sea water. Once the samples are removed, we need to empty the internal water as quickly as possible. These valves when open empty the 50 gal in minutes. The low profile design helps save valuable space. The sample drawers are mounted on robotic submarines capable of diving several thousands of meters deep.
I had to replace approximately 24 inches of pipe, elbows, and blade valve. It took me awhile to find out that ABS pipe is measured Inside Diameter, and I didn't want to cut the pipe until I was absolutely sure. Once I was sure, it all went in well. I used a flexible straight connector to put it in place, and that solved many problems. Attached is a photo of my finished assembly. By the way, that "liquid sealant" sold in stores is Worthless!
