Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Bladex RV waste valve. This unit simply adds or replaces a waste valve in your RV's waste system for your gray water tank. It's made from a strong and durable black plastic construction. The valve's going to feature an inch and a half spigot on each side. We're going to take measurements of those real quick. They're going to measure the same, so we're only going to measure one side.
Outer edge to outer edge, we're looking at a diameter measurement of about 1 7/8 to 1 15/16 of an inch. Right in that area. Internal diameter, we're looking at pretty close to an inch and a half. Here on the top portion, or however you have this oriented, but right here we're going to have an easy accessible t-handle. That's going to make opening and closing the valve quick and easy. Color of the handle is gray.
The t-handle design just allows for a nice, easy, grip. The unit's already assembled. It has the appropriate seals internally that are installed for leak proof performance. A few other measurements I want to go over with you real quick is just the overall length of the unit with the handle in the closed position, and with the handle in the open position. Going this way, we're looking at about 6 5/8 of an inch. With it open, it's going to increase it to around 8 3/4 of an inch.
That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra Bladex RV waste valve.

The valve is performing as desired. No problems.
The exact part I needed for a complete replacement job on a leaky grey tank line (due to previous owner making the pipe too long, it rubbed until failure.) This should make the fix much simpler.

PERFECT FIT. USED SILICONE SEAL & A SELF DRILLING SCREW TO CONNECT ALL DRAIN PLUMBING. WHY? IT'S LOW PRESSURE & IF SOMETHING BREAKS IT COMES APART & ONLY THE BROKEN PART GETS REPLACED.
Had to replace two dump valves that cracked from extreme cold winter weather. These were quick and easy to replace in with the new PVC pipe run!
