Getting coals ready does not have to involve lighter fluid or long wait times. This electric charcoal starter uses a wide double-ring design to heat more briquettes at once, while the angled handle helps keep your hands back as the fire gets going.

Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the Ivation Quick Ignite Electric Charcoal starter, 500 watts of power. This is gonna ignite charcoal quickly without the need and use of starter fluid. Plus who wants to taste starter fluid anyways, right, so this is considered a double ring design. As you can see, it has a wired heating surface and it can control more coals at once and make more contact with those.
So it takes about eight minutes, give or take to heat and be ready for that ignition of your charcoal briquettes. Obviously you wanna keep your hands away from anything down here. It does have a nice little tab here that you can hook onto the edge of your barbecue pit, and that'll help hold this in place while it's doing its thing and heating up. So it's a hands free support and it's gonna rest securely on that grill edge. And of course, use that standard 110 outlet connection that most residential houses have.
That's gonna wrap up our quickly together. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
