Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this Coghlan's Fire in a Box fire starting kit. Now this small metal tin is going to be packed with everything that you need to get a fire going. You're going to get this magnesium bar, this flint rod with scraper, and then a little collapsible bellows here and some juke tender. The whole thing is going to be about the size of a deck of cards when it's all together in this tin, and it's going to be able to slip very easily into a pocket or a backpack.
So this is gonna be super reliable in bad weather. The magnesium and flint combo is going to spark hot and then the included bellows here is gonna help you keep that flame live, even if it's damp or windy, and you'll just blow through the bellows here and the air will come out of the other end here. And as you can see, this is collapsible, so it can extend long enough to kind of keep you safe from any flames or sparks that start up when you're getting the fire going. And like, it's gonna be lightweight, it's gonna be compact. If you carry it in your pack, it's gonna hardly take up any space.
But it'll be nice to know that you have the capability to make fire when you need it. Everything's gonna be in one place. You're not gonna have to be scrambling around for tinder or extra tools. Everything's gonna be inside of this tin ready to go. It's durable, it's waterproof, and the these fire starting pieces, it's not gonna matter if they get wet.
So that's gonna be a huge plus because camping or hiking can be very unpredictable, especially when it comes to weather situations. So this kit's gonna be perfect for campers, hikers, backpackers, who want a no fuss, reliable way to start a fire. It's gonna be smart add-on for an emergency kit as well. And so you'll have the capability to easily make a fire. So it's gonna give you peace of mind.
Lemme just show you how everything's going to fit in here. I'm gonna put in the jute here, the scraper, the rod, the magnesium bar, then the bellows here, and then give it a close, close it up. So everything, lemme rearrange this here real quick. It's a nice tight fit. (pieces clattering) There we go. So let me go ahead and give you some measurements here while we got it all shut. It looks like overall we're sitting pretty close to about 4 1/2 inches long. And then the overall thickness, right at about an inch thick or so. And then the overall width, if you wanna call it that, about 2 3/4 inches. You are going to get a great set of instructions here, just to walk you through starting fire with this kit, but if you happen to have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We have many other camping and hiking tools that will make camping or hiking safer and easier for you. So if you have any other questions, give us a call. We wanna make sure that you're getting everything that you want and need. I'm just gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
