Correct, Shine, Protect

The Griot's Garage 3-in-1 wax doesn't just apply a protective layer of wax to your ride's surface. Instead, it completes 3 different jobs to keep your vehicle looking even better. This solution lets you buff out minor defects in your paint job, so you won't see any ugly stains or swirls on your newly waxed vehicle. Next, it shines your vehicle's surface, giving it a stylish gloss. Finally, it protects your surface from damage by giving it a durable layer of carnauba wax. The wax not only protects your paint job from dirt and debris, but it's also hydrophobic. As a result, any water that touches the wax will bead up and fall off the surface, without causing moisture damage or leaving ugly water spots.

This 3-in-1 solution is all you need to give your ride the shine and protection it needs, while getting rid of unsightly marks and stains.

Liquid Carnauba Wax

This carnauba wax compound will bring out your vehicle's color clarity with minimal hazing. And all you need is a single, thin coat.

Liquid wax also spreads easier than a solid paste, and it leaves behind fewer solid chunks after the wax has cured. So you can easily apply the wax and wipe away any residue when you're finished. No spots, no chunks, no problem.

How to Use

For the best shine possible, before you apply the wax, use cleaning clay to remove any embedded dirt or debris.

To apply the 3-in-1 liquid wax, spread a thin layer onto your vehicle either by hand or with an orbital. To avoid leaving streaks, let the wax cure for 20 to 30 minutes. Once it's completely set, use a soft cloth or towel to clear the excess wax off, then buff your vehicle's surface. This will leave a glossy, swirl-free shine as well as a protective layer that's resistant to dirt and debris.

For extra protection and an even better shine, you can apply a second coat after the wax has cured for at least 12 hours.

The wax went on easily and covered well. Didn't really appreciate how many square feet of surface there is on our travel trailer until I put the wax on.

  • Recommended Protectant for Hard Fiberglass Tonneau Cover
The best product will depend on what condition the surface is in. If it's in good shape, and you just want to protect it going forward, I'd recommend the # 34910916 from Griot's Garage. This is a high quality liquid polymer wax that's safe for fiberglass surfaces, and provides UV protection. If the surface has minor swirls, scratches or stains, the 3-in-1 liquid wax, part # 34911013 will simultaneously correct, shine and protect the painted surface of your fiberglass tonneau cover.

  • Orbital Buffer And Recommended Compound And Polish Wax For RV Fiberglass Gelcoat
Blake, you can absolutely use the # PT37VR Orbital Buffer on fiberglass gelcoat. In fact, it’s a great way to bring life back to a dull RV exterior. Start with a mild compound like Griot’s Complete Compound # 349B110P and the terry cloth bonnet to take out oxidation, then move to the wool bonnet with a finishing polish like # 34911013. Just go slow and keep the polisher moving - gelcoat is forgiving, but you don’t want to focus in one spot too long. What type of RV do you have, and what...

  • Which Detailing Brushes Will Be Good For Getting Into Seams For Detailing RVs And Cars?
Yes Paul, the five round red/black detailing brushes with handles in the # PT39NJ kit are great for seams, trim edges, and around hardware where impurities and buildup can collect. I wouldn’t use them across broad painted panels, but for those stubborn crevices they’re perfect. After cleaning the painted surfaces (not the bare aluminum), wipe everything down with the microfiber towels, then apply a protective layer using the included foam pads and something like Griot’s Liquid Gloss Poly...

  • Which Detailing Kit Will Help Keep Road Grime And Bug Splatter Off Front Of Car 2019 Subaru Outback
Amy, absolutely, this detailing kit # PT39NJ has the right tool. But you can skip the drill bristle brushes on painted panels as that could scratch it. For bug splatter, the microfiber wash mitt is your best bet, since it’s gentle but effective. The microfiber towels are also good for handle drying and final wipe-down without scratching. Then, use the foam pads with a wax like Griot’s Liquid Gloss Poly Wax # 34911013 to make future cleanups easier bugs won’t stick as much to a freshly...

  • Are The Pads Included In Performance Tool Car Detailing Kit Good Enough For Polish And Wax?
Diane, the detailing kit # PT39NJ includes two hook-and-loop pads that are great for applying polish and wax. They attach to the included backer pad, which snaps right into your drill. For standard car detailing on your personal vehicles, these will absolutely do the job. If you don't have product to put on the pad yet, you can pair them with something like Griot’s Complete Compound # 349B110P for correction, then finish with their Liquid Gloss Poly Wax # 34911013 for shine and protection....

  • Detailing 2014 Honda CRV With Orbital Buffer - Which Bonnet Cloth To Use?
Daniel, in the Orbital Buffer 10" Diameter - 3,000 rpm kit # PT37VR, the wool bonnet isn’t too aggressive - it’s actually softer than the terry cloth one. The terry is for cutting/compounding, while the wool is gentler, making it better for polish or wax. On a Honda clear coat, I’d stick with a light-cut compound first, like the Griot’s # 349B110P, then follow with # 34911013 on the wool bonnet for a protective shine. Are you hoping to just remove swirls, or do you want to do a full correction...
