I just bought a 2019 Subaru Outback in white. Would this kit help me keep up with road grime and bug splatter on the front end?

Amy, absolutely, this detailing kit # PT39NJ has the right tool. But you can skip the drill bristle brushes on painted panels as that could scratch it. For bug splatter, the microfiber wash mitt is your best bet, since it’s gentle but effective.
The microfiber towels are also good for handle drying and final wipe-down without scratching. Then, use the foam pads with a wax like Griot’s Liquid Gloss Poly Wax # 34911013 to make future cleanups easier bugs won’t stick as much to a freshly waxed surface.
