Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valtera battery box cone vent and louver cover. This cone vent directs battery box fumes outside of the RV for increased safety. Mounting hardware not included. Taking a look at the dimensions real quick, starting with the overall width and overall height. It's going to be a square design so it's going to measure the same both directions. It's going to be four and a quarter outer edge to outer edge, four and a quarter outer edge to outer edge.
The mount holes are going to be separated apart from one another one center by three and a quarter and that's a square design as well. When it comes to this piece right here, this hole's going to give us a diameter measurement of two and 5/8 of an inch. Inner diameter back here is one and 9/16 of an inch. Outer diameter is one and 3/4 of an inch. That's going to let us know that the cone's going to accommodate a one and 3/4 inch inner diameter hose.
The unit is made from a durable plastic construction and it's white in color. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valtera battery box cone vent and louver cover.

fit, does the job, but the Louvered cover could be better quality, does the job, but could look more impressive. Plus you will need to supply your own screws and material to install them.

Worked and replaced originals with ease. If I need this product again I’m buying them again from etrailer.
These were perfect, I place a small 12v to exhaust the battery box, and these were the go-between, the box and outside for safe exhaust of hydrogen frumes.

A very basic product. It is made pretty well. But it could be improved by the addition of some screen on the inside of the louvers to prevent insects using the louvers as an entrance.
