Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Safety Step Folding Platform Step. It's steel construction. It is 19 by 11 on a measurement and it can hold 500 pounds. So folks, this nice step stool is gonna give you the extra height you need to access hard to reach things maybe in your RV, camper at home, or just in the garage.
It does feature a nice anti-slip tape on each rung here, every other one rather, and that gives you that nice grip you need and traction. I like the fact that you can fold it up nice and flat for storage. You got these spring loaded pins on each leg and you just simply push them in, fold it down, and if you notice the legs don't fall. That's because they've got built-in magnets on each leg, on all four of 'em, and that is a nice powerful magnet that's gonna hold that in place. Now when it's folded down flat like this, it's about three inches tall, give or take, and that makes it nice and easy for storing it whenever you need to store it.
And then when you're ready to use it, you just simply pop the legs out. You don't have to worry about the buttons when you're popping it out. The step works great. It has held up well. We use it for our enclosed trailer and the adjustable step is perfect every time. Will be ordering one for the motorhome step. Great quality and service.
We purchased this large step for our Class B RV. The running board step is small and narrow and one had to be careful entering and exiting the RV. This step is large enough to place your entire foot on it and is extremely sturdy. Its large enough so that it is easy to not miss when stepping in and out. It is one of the best purchases we have made for the RV. We would HIGHLY recommend it! We would give it 10 stars if we could!
Stays on the floor well, doesn't slide around. Good purchase on mats or concrete. Sturdy. It's a good buy.

Our trailer sits high for excellent ground clearance and we have two exit doors. The last step from the trailer is about 12" from the ground so we needed a stable platform to be the last step to the ground. This is a platform step. It is 24" by 16", plenty of room to fit under the last step of the trailer and provided a lot of room to place your foot for the last step before the ground. You don't have to worry about missing the step because your carrying thing out of the trailer. The first folding platform worked so well and was very stable we purchased a second one.
Owned and used these steps for more than a year. These steps are amazing (tough, safe, & nice looking). They never topple over when used because of the dynamic design of the legs ( angled slightly outwards). The rough top surface of the step removes dry dirt from bottom of your shoes which then drops through slotted surface to the ground. No more tracked in dirt. Talk about industrial strength, I ran over them with my trailer and only bent one leg & part of top step and was able to use a vice and small hammer in my shop to hammer back into shape. The leg is sturdy again and I can still retract it when necessary. THIS IS ONE TOUGH PRODUCT AND A GREAT VALUE FOR THE PRICE. I've had them outdoors in the elements since I bought them & NO RUST!!
The aluminum Safety Step Folding Platform has been ideal for our 2001 Access Cab Toyota Tundra pickup. It is a 24 inch step up to get into the truck, and it was no longer possible for my spouse to get into the vehicle. The platform solved our problem perfectly. It is just the right height to allow easy entry into the truck. The platform is extremely steady no matter where you step onto it and has a non-slip surface and legs. It is very convenient to store the unit behind the passenger seat and retrieve it for use.
This step is going to last a lifetime, love it.

This is exactly what we need. This will be used by our volunteer firefighters for duties related to vehicle extraction and attic access through small closets. Its sturdy and lightweight.
Well this is exactly what I needed, it is so well built and the powder coat finish is....PERFECT! I bought this as a small booster step for getting into my light aircraft, I only needed a 6" boost to get over the doors edge and I was at a loss with the light aircraft parts suppliers who only had larger steps, then I found etrailer and you had a full line of sizes..... this small one is just right and the color will make it visible so it will never be FOD on the ramp... it is just plain NICE and well built ! .... I know yellow is bright but an ORANGE one would be great too.

A very sturdy step,though I would have liked the legs to be foldable for easy storage (I've seen this in 9" steps). I use it to load a crew boat onto my roof rack, works perfectly.

After using plastic step stools that often slide when you step down on them, I feel much safer using my new safety step.
This step stool is outstanding! Sturdy and stable... but more importantly its landing platform is larger than most stools. Used as an additional outside step when required. My previous step had a much smaller landing platform which made it perilous to carry items out of the trailer on a sloped campsite. This step stool makes it much safer and provides a solid landing area with much less chance of tipping or missing the step when carrying items into or out of the trailer. Highly recommended.
Safety step is well made with useful features....like the easy fold-away press button lock/secure legs, innate stability, and non-slip spacious top. Also, quite sturdy for the light weight and stores easily. Got it specifically for loading dirt bikes....a savior...and a nice stool for just sitting after a long day of riding. I ordered both the SASXL-08C-G & SASXLA-09C-G & Stromberg Carlson S-150 Safety Steps for use on my 5' X 8' Custom Cargo Trailer. I did side by side comparisons on each of these 3 steps, considering weight, longevity, storage, and most importantly stability. This Model SASXL-08C-G Step WON OVER above these others! Well made, light-weight, easy handling, Very stable when you properly spread the legs out. Very Happy with this model Safety Step. You get what you pay for! I will add some factory looking bright yellow strips to my steps, see photos. (Note: Some of my photos would not upload)
This was a perfect fit for what we needed, not too big and not too small. It is well-made and very sturdy. Shipping to Alaska was surprisingly cheap and quick.
