Designed for curved and straight steps, this durable outdoor step rug gives you a place to wipe off your feet after a hike on the trails. Heavy-duty carpet has a micro-ribbed texture for better traction, so you can climb in and out of your RV safely, but is also soft for bare feet and puppy paws. Its hook-and-loop fastening strips provide extra support to keep the rug snug to your RV Step.
The rug wraps around your step and secures with included hook-and-loop fastening strips and springs - no screws, glue, or tools needed. The 2 hook-and-loop fastening strips stick to the front edge and top, back portion of the step. Once the rug is aligned and pressed firmly to the step, the springs connect the front and back grommet holes of the rug underneath your RV step, giving you a clean, seamless look. Choose between multiple sets of grommet holes depending on the size of your step. Rug can quickly be removed for cleaning and easily reattached when you're finished.

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this exterior RV step rug. This is a 22 inch wide rug. That's going to wrap around your RV step. It is going to work with your steps that are 22 inches wide up to 24 inches wide.
You can see if you're 24, if you do have a 24 inch wide step it is gonna have a little bit of an overhang on each side, that's going to be exposed. About this being in the center. It's still gonna provide plenty of room for you to clean your feet off as you're going up into your RV. Make sure that that dirt is sticking outside instead of being on your RV's floor. This will work with your steps that are straight or curved.
Like we have here, it will work with your manual system like this, or with your electric system. It is gonna do a good job of keeping your feet clean or allowing you to wipe them off at least as you're going up. And now this is just the single step part number. There is a three step part number. If you have a three-step system like we have here.
But I'm just gonna stick with the one for this video. We do also have other colors and styles available here at etrailer.com. So if you're looking for something else, either quantity, color, or material, I'd encourage you to check out some of those other product options. Now this is an Onyx black color. So it is gonna do a good job of hiding any dirt that does accumulate far better than your brighter colors would.
I really like this black color. I think it's gonna look really sharp for you especially if you have black steps like this. This does have the Outrigger style to it. So it's gonna be more of your outdoor carpet. So it is very soft. Feels really nice on my hand. I'm sure it would feel really good if you're walking in barefoot. It will be nice and soft on you but it still gives you that texture that you need to kind of help clean off your feet or your shoes as you're going in. This is gonna be very durable. It's resistant to mold and mildew. It's also going to resist UV rays. So it's not gonna fade quickly for you. So it should hold up really well and do a good job for years to come. It's extremely easy to clean. Basically just hose it off, let it air dry and it'll be ready to go. Another nice feature of this rug here is that it is a solid design. So if your RV steps have holes in it, oftentimes our pets when they are able to see through the step like that, they're not as confident going in and out on their own. So this is gonna provide a nice solid surface for them so that they can more easily climb in and out. On the bottom side you'll see that this is held in place with these four springs. Move this forward so you can see a little bit better. So these springs are gonna keep that tension to keep it wrapped around our step. If I take this off here, we'll be able to see this a little bit better. And you can see that it does have these four tabs that are kind of cut into four pieces. That's to accommodate that curvature of your step. It will still work if you have a straight step. And you can see it does also have these four different grommets. Grommet holes here that's to accommodate different depth steps. So this will work for your eight inch deep all the way up to 11 inch deep steps. Just determine which grommet your spring hooks into. If I pull our rug out, we'll be able to see on the backside here. We do have these two hook and loop strips with adhesive backing. So the first time you install this, we'll just peel off that adhesive backing. Get that stuck to the front of your step and that is going to ensure that our rug isn't gonna slide around on our step. The springs do a really good job of keeping that tension on there, but this is just kind of an added extra security caution to make sure that it's gonna be nice and smooth and sturdy for us. This is, the front one here is also going to have the added benefit of once you get that installed on the center of your front step, it can be an indication for you of anytime you have to remove the rug, you know that that's gonna be centered as long as you get those two pieces lined up. So a nice little convenience for you there. To get this installed again, I'll just pull out the steps here and wrap this around. We do want the small portion to be on the front. And those long tabs to be on the back side. This will probably be much easier for you if you only have a one step system, rather than wrestling with three steps like I'm doing now. Then you'll just pull that tab back. My steps are only eight inches deep. So I'm gonna go all the way to the farthest one. You get it hooked in, like so. You can see very simple to do. Obviously you want to do the same with the other three. I'm not gonna do that for now. But this will do a really good job. Making sure that your stuff is covered. It gives you that nice material to wipe your feet off on. And it's gonna make it a little bit softer than the sand papery type texture that are typically on our steps. So that's gonna complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
