Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com And today we're gonna be taking a look at this Prest-O-Fit 2-Piece Step Rug Set for the 2nd Generation MORryde StepAbove RV Steps, in buckskin brown. Now this set is going to wrap around your 2nd Generation MORryde StepAbove Steps. And our Item number on our website for the steps that this set will work with, is Item number MR86MR. So these rugs are going to give you a place to wipe the dirt, mud, grass, and other debris off of your feet. So there's gonna be less sweeping and mopping inside your RV, which is a great thing. And again, this is for the 2nd Generation.

So if you're not sure if you've got the first or the second generation, an easy way to tell is that the 1st Generation uses a removable pin to adjust the locks, to adjust rather and lock the legs in place. The 2nd Generation steps have a button that releases the legs for adjustments. So if you have the button, this set is going to work for your steps. Now this kit fits StepAbove Steps with a top step tread width of 17 1/2 inches and a top step depth of 8 inches. And they will cover your steps with this heavy-duty outdoor turf that has strong bristle fibers.

It's going to do a great job of removing that dirt and debris from your shoes. It's gonna do a better job for you than the standard turf. This material's also UV resistant, as well as mold and mildew resistant. So when it's time to clean them off, it's very easy. Just spray it off with the hose and let it air-dry.

You'll be good to go. The carpeted design by the way, is also good for your pets, as it covers hard uninviting metal steps, that might scare them off. Now, as you've already seen, these rugs have a textured rubberized back which will help keep them in place. But in addition to that, there are these hook-and-loop strips at the top and at the bottom of each rug piece that will keep them secure along with this textured rubberized back. And you will just adhere these strips to your steps, and then you can easily remove it to clean, as necessary, and then just put them back into place.

But really the primary way that these are going to be secured, is gonna be with these included springs. And I just want to give you a brief demonstration of what that looks like. So after you have one of these rugs wrapped around your step and after you have it secured with the hook-and-loop fasteners, then you would just finalize that, with these springs. And these springs have a hook on either side and they will just hook right into these holes that are in the rugs. And they are going to provide tension to ensure that the rug is gonna be a nice snug fit, over your step. Now, these springs are zinc-plated steel, so they are not going to easily rust. They're gonna be rust resistant and corrosion resistant. So they're gonna last you a good long time. So very easy installation. No screws, glue, or tools necessary. And again, this is a 2-step Kit. This top step here is going to be the larger of the two, as you can see here. So this will be the top step. And the one that we've been looking at together is going to be for your bottom step.
