Designed for 2nd generation MORryde StepAbove steps (MR86RR - sold separately), this durable 2-piece step rug set gives you a place to wipe off your feet after a hike on the trails. Heavy-duty bristle fiber material removes dirt and debris easier than standard turf rugs, so there's less sweeping and mopping inside your RV. Hook-and-loop fastening strips provide extra support to keep the rugs snug to your RV Steps.
If your MORryde steps have a removable pin to adjust and lock the legs in place, you have the first generation MORryde StepAbove steps.
If your MORyde steps have a button that releases the legs for adjustment, you have the second generation MORryde StepAbove steps.
The rugs wrap around your steps and secure with included hook-and-loop fastening strips and springs - no screws, glue, or tools needed. For each rug, the 2 hook-and-loop fastening strips stick to the front edge and top, back portion of the step. Once the rug is aligned and pressed firmly to the step, the springs connect the front and back grommet holes of the rug underneath your RV step, giving you a clean, seamless look. Rugs can quickly be removed for cleaning and easily reattached when you're finished.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com And today we're gonna be taking a look at this Prest-O-Fit 2-Piece Step Rug Set for the 2nd Generation MORryde StepAbove RV Steps, in buckskin brown. Now this set is going to wrap around your 2nd Generation MORryde StepAbove Steps. And our Item number on our website for the steps that this set will work with, is Item number MR86MR. So these rugs are going to give you a place to wipe the dirt, mud, grass, and other debris off of your feet. So there's gonna be less sweeping and mopping inside your RV, which is a great thing. And again, this is for the 2nd Generation.
So if you're not sure if you've got the first or the second generation, an easy way to tell is that the 1st Generation uses a removable pin to adjust the locks, to adjust rather and lock the legs in place. The 2nd Generation steps have a button that releases the legs for adjustments. So if you have the button, this set is going to work for your steps. Now this kit fits StepAbove Steps with a top step tread width of 17 1/2 inches and a top step depth of 8 inches. And they will cover your steps with this heavy-duty outdoor turf that has strong bristle fibers.
It's going to do a great job of removing that dirt and debris from your shoes. It's gonna do a better job for you than the standard turf. This material's also UV resistant, as well as mold and mildew resistant. So when it's time to clean them off, it's very easy. Just spray it off with the hose and let it air-dry.
You'll be good to go. The carpeted design by the way, is also good for your pets, as it covers hard uninviting metal steps, that might scare them off. Now, as you've already seen, these rugs have a textured rubberized back which will help keep them in place. But in addition to that, there are these hook-and-loop strips at the top and at the bottom of each rug piece that will keep them secure along with this textured rubberized back. And you will just adhere these strips to your steps, and then you can easily remove it to clean, as necessary, and then just put them back into place.
But really the primary way that these are going to be secured, is gonna be with these included springs. And I just want to give you a brief demonstration of what that looks like. So after you have one of these rugs wrapped around your step and after you have it secured with the hook-and-loop fasteners, then you would just finalize that, with these springs. And these springs have a hook on either side and they will just hook right into these holes that are in the rugs. And they are going to provide tension to ensure that the rug is gonna be a nice snug fit, over your step. Now, these springs are zinc-plated steel, so they are not going to easily rust. They're gonna be rust resistant and corrosion resistant. So they're gonna last you a good long time. So very easy installation. No screws, glue, or tools necessary. And again, this is a 2-step Kit. This top step here is going to be the larger of the two, as you can see here. So this will be the top step. And the one that we've been looking at together is going to be for your bottom step. So, if you're looking to add some step rugs to your 2nd Generation MORryde StepAbove Steps for 2-steps, I think this would be a good option for you to consider. Again, this is in buckskin brown. Fit perfect no issues at all
We love the RV stair treads. They look sharp and we're easy to install.It makes it easier for our dogs to go up and down the stairs and hopefully gets some of the dirt out of their paws.
Easy to install, durable product, competitive pricing & looks great. Probably will need to be cleaned fairly often, but better than dragging dirt & debris inside. Used a small, hard bristled brush which worked perfectly!

Perfect fit. Just what I needed.
They fit perfectly. Installation was aimple, apply velcro strips to bottom of stair treads, wrap cover around step and attach to velcro. Attach springs. I did have to cut 2 of them to fit around railing but they were already perforated where I had to cut. Couldn't be easier Finished install looks great.

These step rugs make for a much safer entry and exit of the camper by providing a great nonslip surface. They can be a pain to keep clean though as they hold in a lot of debris due to the material they are made from. Still love them and will never go with out them.
Installed quickly and easily. Does not move around on the step tread and helps the dogs to walk up and down the steps calmly.
I bought the Prest-O-Fit 3 piece step rug set after purchasing a competitor product that ended up an inch short on the ends and most importantly the third rug was not customized to fit the 2nd GEN MORryde step above RV steps that have a wider top stop and you need the straps to go into the slots as the rug will not fit all the way around the step. The Prest-O-Fit does come with a customized wider top step with the straps that are needed and makes a perfect fit. If you were looking for well-made and a customized fit for your steps this is the product for you.
We redid the top step like the old one was and put the sticky step cover on the bottom step. Work out well
The step covers fit perfectly. They were a little pricey, however I hope they are worth it. The material is a little coarse. Hopefully that will be a good thing over the long haul. We haven't been camping yet, so a true use test is yet to come.
The step covers fit like they were made just for my RV. They are thicker and plusher than I thought they would be. Could not have asked for a better product.
I ordered the wrong size, contacted the etrailer and reordered the right size, and they gave me a shipping ticket so I could ship the wrong ones back to them, which I didn't have to pay for and I thank them for that
