The wire gauge which is 10 AWG is then sufficient for the singular 50 amp service the power cord is designed to be used with.

    Generally for RV Plugs a 4 wire would mean 50 amp. Unless someone made modifications to your 5th wheel at some point, I cannot think of a reason why there would be a 4 wire 30 amp plug. Usually we can look at the cord to determine if your 5th wheel is 30 amp or 50 amp. If you can send pictures of your distribution box and plug I should be able to identify it.
