Today we're going to be taking a look at the Mighty Cord Dogbone Style RV Adapter Cord. This is a 15 Amp male to 30 Amp female. This adapter is going to measure about 12 inches long. It's for use in adapting 15 Amp power for use with 30 Amp RVs. It's going to feature the female receptacle on this end, this is designed to connect to the RV. A lot of new RVs are being equipped with this style of connector.
Plug it in and then the ring threads on which provides a nice tight secure locking connection, really prevents accidental disconnecting. Really nice design, very easy to use, makes hooking up the RV to the inaudible 00:00:37 power quick and easy and convenient. This is a nice heavy duty cable, again we're going to have the 15 Amp male on this side. Nice flexible design too for as short as it is but the cable inaudible 00:00:51 the wiring is all protected by nice thick casing. That's going to contain three wires and all wires are gauge ten. Gets 15A 120V electricity from the barn via 'standard' 3 pronged 12 gauge extension cord to the ForestRiver Cherokee WolfPack 27DW's 30A twist-lock receptacle (L5-30), running everything but the air conditioner unit. will run the main fan.
Great for working in and around the trailer when power is required and you haven't yet convinced your spouse to fund that nice 30A hookup - yet......
I've used the RV mighty cord adapter for a year now and I am very satisfied with the product. It is exactly what I was looking for. I definitely recommend the product, as well as etrailer.com

Works fine. No issues. Spend the extra money and get the one with a 90 degree bend in it. This one can get in the way and is more of a trip hazard.

A good recommendation for a alternate 90 degree cord like part # A10-1530D90VP which is also a 30 amp femail to a 15 amp male adapter.

now I don't have to get out the big cord to plug in to the house just to keep the batteries charged or to hook up to the little generator. I can run everything in my camper with the exception of the AC with this adaptor
I asked my husband about this item. He said, "I love everything I have ever bought from etrailer. I have never had any issues." I think that says it all. He is a happy man.

Been a year. Still works perfectly. Havent even tried to convince the spouse I need that 30A hookup...
