SnapPads install quickly and easily, and never need to be removed. Install each pad one at a time. Begin by placing the pad beneath your jack, ensuring that the pad and foot are properly aligned.

    SnapPad jack pad installation

Lower the jack until the lip of the pad fully engages around its foot and locks into place. You'll hear a snapping sound once the pad is securely installed. Repeat this process for the remaining pads. Installation is permanent, so once you have the SnapPads secured, you'll never have to worry about crawling under your RV to place pads again.

Video Transcript for SnapPad 5th Wheel and Class A Motorhome Jack Stand Pads Review

Shane: Hey guys, Shane 00:00:01 here with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the SnapPad Jack Stand Pads. With a motorhome or camper, we like to go camping to different places. We like to travel. Camping at different spots means the ground could be a little bit different. Maybe it could be a little bit softer in some places. Well, when we go to level out our trailer, if one of those jacks pushes down on the ground, that means our camper's not going to be level.Adding a SnapPad onto your jacks is going to make leveling out your camper a lot easier because we're not going to have to worry about the foot sinking in the ground.

It's going to give us a much bigger footprint to make sure that we have a solid foundation. These are going to come in a variety of different sizes, anywhere from 7-inch up to 12-inch. Here, we have the 8-inch, 9-inch, 10-inch, 11.5. There's also a 7-inch and a 12-inch. What you're going to need to do is determine what kind of foot pad you have on your jack. There's four different kinds.

You have round, you have square, you have octagon, and you have concave round. These are going to be for your round. This type is going to be for your concave round or your octagon. Then of course, your 11.5 and your 12 are going to be for rounds. Now the reason this one is for your concave round or your octagon.. You'll notice that the sides are a little bit deeper than the rest of them.

The reason that is, is because on the foot pad, on the octagon and concave round, the sides kind of roll up a little bit taller. But we want those sides to be able to come down and grab on this bottom lip. Each one of our pads are going to be the durable rubber construction. So no matter what terrain we're on, whether it's rocky or asphalt, we can rest assured that once we have our jacks down, they're going to stay in place. So with adding these onto your factory foot plate, we kind of put this in perspective. Your factory foot plate, let's say it's nine inches, which is what this pad is here. Your 9-inch foot plate is a metal plate.

When we add this, we're actually making it 11 inches. So we're going from nine inches to 11 inches, which is going to give us a much better footprint, a much more solid foundation. Not only can you buy these as a kit, but you can also buy these as separate pads. You can find each one here at etrailer.com.Now to measure your pad or to measure your foot. They determine what you have. This one's a round one. What we need to do is we need to measure across it from one side to the other. That's going to tell us what size foot pad we need. If you have octagon, you're just going to go from one flat side to the other flat side, straight across, very simple to measure. Once you measure, find the correct foot pad, and you're ready to go.My overall thoughts on these, I think these are a great idea. I think when you compare them to some of the other types of pads or some of the other types of things that people have used, like Mowers 00:03:08 for instance, or maybe a pad that you just slide underneath there. You know, when we go to take off, maybe we're in a rush, and you're going to be thinking all the way home whether you forgot the pad or not. If you forgot it, you're out of luck. Now you got to find something else. We've gotten a lot of reviews from different people who have got these and said that "this was the best thing" they've "ever bought for their RV or camper" and they "should have done it a long time ago."As far as the installation on. Installation is very simple. I do say have two people. Once you get the pad slid into place or in the area of the jack, back out, but whoever it is drop that jack down close to the path. If you have to make an adjustment, have him stop, slide the pad over and then get out from underneath the RV. Once they drop the jack down all the way, it's going to pop right into place. That doesn't mean once they're on, they have to stay on. If you have to replace them, they can come off. Take a couple of screwdrivers, you're just going to wedge it up around the plate, slide it around the side until you get half of it off, and then it'll just slide off and you can pop the new one on.That's going to do it for looking at the SnapPad Jack Stand Pads..

They seem to be well made. I have not installed them yet, as they are marked R and F, but believe the R is for the front, and the F is for the rear as it's larger. Wont know until I install them, and aint felt like it yet

    Comments
The F and the B - which could be mistaken for an R - on the pads are actually just a quick way to identify which individual SnapPad you are looking at! The F is for an 11-12 inch or 12 inch round jack foot while the B is for a 10 inch octagon or round concave jack foot.

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

Solid, durable, and expands the footprint of our landing gear. The install was extremely easy. Just set them on the ground, lower the jack's, line up the snap pads to your landing pads, and they "snap" right into place. No more pulling out my leveling blocks to place on soft ground. They also, in my view, improve the appearance. I was super excited when these arrived (I'm a childish 57 year old) and was anxious to get to the campground to put them on. Once on place, they aren't going anywhere anytime soon as I tried to get them back off, just to see what it would take, and it was almost impossible to get them off. Thank you etrailer for getting this to me as soon as they became available and I appreciate the communication and shipping quality.

Easy install with a helper and a little soap. I feel much better with this non-slip robust footpad installed. Cannot attest to durability as I've just installed them but they seem very heavy-duty. No more kneeling and situating pads when you get to camp!

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

8” Snap Pads received in a timely manner, and lookin’ good! For smooth business transaction, in times of a global pandemic, both etrailer, and UPS rock !!! I won’t install them until I’m on a level paved surface (not my bumpy gravel driveway). I expect these to work in 95% of the RV Parks we visit. I have BigFoot pads to pre-level the rest, & boondocking sloped sites. Thanks !

Snap Pads themselves work great, just as advertised. Sadly one popped off somewhere in my travels, so I’m down to three.

Thanks for your review. Here is the single snap pad if you would just like to replace the one.

Nice, heavy thick pads. Very durable. It's great that I don't need to place and remove everytime I move the 5th wheel. They stay semi-permanently installed.

These SnapPads are excellent. Delivery box could have used a little packing paper as the box was much larger than needed, but the box was extra sturdy, no problem. Also, could have used some install instructions, but plenty on-line videos, no foul. Overall experience with etrailer this time and previously has been very positive.

Product was as expected. Thank you. And thanks to the wonderful person trying to keep us informed. But on the whole Etrailer gets a fail this time. Taking orders for products you don’t actually have in stock should be illegal. Period. Yes the world stopped. But that was after. Yes you tried again, but you then made a delivery promise before checking the goods. Again. So now it really is a ‘you’ problem. And all said and done you had to re-bill me due to length of time and you charged me more for shipping. The only party in this deal being asked to carry all the burdens is the customer. Oh well, live and learn.

The experience as posted previously was crap. The product a year on has been great. No issues. Recommend the product to anyone interested.

Very well made and easy to snap on. Just put a little liquid dish soap around the tapered rim of the pad. That helps your jack foot to slip right on. They are 1and 1/8" thick of very firm rubber. It's nice not to have to store blocks in the RV and put out each time. One you put them on they just stay in place. I would recommend these.

Etrailer always does a great job and they provide great products to use on your RV. SnapPads Jack Stand Pads are an example of the great products along with Road Master products. The SnapPads aid in stabilizing the RV when the Jacks are down. They are easy to install and are permanent. No need to lay down loose pads every time you park.

5 stars for etrailer, you can't ask for better services but as a Canadian, I would have appreciate to see online the Canadian price for the product. I end up paying more then twice the price. 5 stars for the product, I glued mine in place to make sure they wont come off wile driving.

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

The snap pads are great. They provide a sure grip on various types of ground. The Jack Pads stayed on our Winnebago 331K levelers without a problem. The only recommendation I would make is to put boards down on straight dirt ground if rain is in the forecast. The mud can harden and be a problem for the jack pads. I also love the wider footprint the jack pads provide to add more stability compared to the metal feet.

Ordered them from etrailer and found out they were not in stock but they got them and shipped them very very quick. I was really impressed I got them so quick with the virus going on. Etrailer has always been great to me and very fast and with the best price around. The snap pad jacks went on very easy using a little dish soap and letting down one jack at a time. I think the pads will be the best thing since sliced bread!

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

Ordered these for our 2020 Solitude GK310 . Received them very timely during C-19 pandemic in great condition from etrailer. Installation was relatively simple and Snap Pads performed well on initial outing on Dirt/Gravel site. Could possibly update to 5star once we see how they actually perform on loose or wet soil conditions.

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

I feel the added surface area of the snap pads adds stability. I did have a slight concern that when the level pads are retracted the snap pads tilt slightly in the jack frame but so far no issues. Although no definitive data is available, I feel more secure with the rubber pads in the event sky to ground lightning. Steel pads on wet ground doesn’t sound safe. Glad I purchased the snap pads. My brother in law also purchased a set - he liked mine!

These things are great. I was skeptical about the reviews and merits of this product but I am very glad that I bought them. No more putting leveling blocks out when you are parked on uneven or gravel surfaces. Put a little bit of dish soap on this before you extend your leveling jack for the first time and these will snap right on the foot pad of the hydraulic system.

I have had these on my rig for a year now, which i didn't realize until etrailer emailed me and reminded me of. They are awesome and i recommend hands down. I don't crawl under my rig to put pads or blocks down unless its uneven.

Very pleased with snap pads. If you have an rv I recommend them. Once you install these on your rv landing gear legs you have a very stable vehicle. They don't come off and no more blocks.

This part number is for 10 inch diameter feet which is most likely what you have. If you had 9 inch diameter feet instead you'd want the # SP54FR4, 7 inch # SP24FR4 11-1/2 inch or 12 inch part # SP84FR74, 8 inch # SP34FR4 etc. I attached a page to see all the options we have since there are quite a few.
