  • Simple, One-Time Installation

SnapPads install quickly and easily, and never need to be removed. Install each pad one at a time. Begin by placing the pad beneath your jack, ensuring that the pad and foot are properly aligned.

    SnapPad jack pad installation

Lower the jack until the lip of the pad fully engages around its foot and locks into place. You'll hear a snapping sound once the pad is securely installed. Repeat this process for the remaining pads. Installation is permanent, so once you have the SnapPads secured, you'll never have to worry about crawling under your RV to place pads again.

Video Transcript for SnapPad 5th Wheel and Class A Motorhome Jack Stand Pads Review

Shane: Hey guys, Shane 00:00:01 here with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the SnapPad Jack Stand Pads. With a motorhome or camper, we like to go camping to different places. We like to travel. Camping at different spots means the ground could be a little bit different. Maybe it could be a little bit softer in some places. Well, when we go to level out our trailer, if one of those jacks pushes down on the ground, that means our camper's not going to be level.Adding a SnapPad onto your jacks is going to make leveling out your camper a lot easier because we're not going to have to worry about the foot sinking in the ground.

It's going to give us a much bigger footprint to make sure that we have a solid foundation. These are going to come in a variety of different sizes, anywhere from 7-inch up to 12-inch. Here, we have the 8-inch, 9-inch, 10-inch, 11.5. There's also a 7-inch and a 12-inch. What you're going to need to do is determine what kind of foot pad you have on your jack. There's four different kinds.

You have round, you have square, you have octagon, and you have concave round. These are going to be for your round. This type is going to be for your concave round or your octagon. Then of course, your 11.5 and your 12 are going to be for rounds. Now the reason this one is for your concave round or your octagon.. You'll notice that the sides are a little bit deeper than the rest of them.

The reason that is, is because on the foot pad, on the octagon and concave round, the sides kind of roll up a little bit taller. But we want those sides to be able to come down and grab on this bottom lip. Each one of our pads are going to be the durable rubber construction. So no matter what terrain we're on, whether it's rocky or asphalt, we can rest assured that once we have our jacks down, they're going to stay in place. So with adding these onto your factory foot plate, we kind of put this in perspective. Your factory foot plate, let's say it's nine inches, which is what this pad is here. Your 9-inch foot plate is a metal plate.

When we add this, we're actually making it 11 inches. So we're going from nine inches to 11 inches, which is going to give us a much better footprint, a much more solid foundation. Not only can you buy these as a kit, but you can also buy these as separate pads. You can find each one here at etrailer.com.Now to measure your pad or to measure your foot. They determine what you have. This one's a round one. What we need to do is we need to measure across it from one side to the other. That's going to tell us what size foot pad we need. If you have octagon, you're just going to go from one flat side to the other flat side, straight across, very simple to measure. Once you measure, find the correct foot pad, and you're ready to go.My overall thoughts on these, I think these are a great idea. I think when you compare them to some of the other types of pads or some of the other types of things that people have used, like Mowers 00:03:08 for instance, or maybe a pad that you just slide underneath there. You know, when we go to take off, maybe we're in a rush, and you're going to be thinking all the way home whether you forgot the pad or not. If you forgot it, you're out of luck. Now you got to find something else. We've gotten a lot of reviews from different people who have got these and said that "this was the best thing" they've "ever bought for their RV or camper" and they "should have done it a long time ago."As far as the installation on. Installation is very simple. I do say have two people. Once you get the pad slid into place or in the area of the jack, back out, but whoever it is drop that jack down close to the path. If you have to make an adjustment, have him stop, slide the pad over and then get out from underneath the RV. Once they drop the jack down all the way, it's going to pop right into place. That doesn't mean once they're on, they have to stay on. If you have to replace them, they can come off. Take a couple of screwdrivers, you're just going to wedge it up around the plate, slide it around the side until you get half of it off, and then it'll just slide off and you can pop the new one on.That's going to do it for looking at the SnapPad Jack Stand Pads..

They seem to be well made. I have not installed them yet, as they are marked R and F, but believe the R is for the front, and the F is for the rear as it's larger. Wont know until I install them, and aint felt like it yet

    Comments
The F and the B - which could be mistaken for an R - on the pads are actually just a quick way to identify which individual SnapPad you are looking at! The F is for an 11-12 inch or 12 inch round jack foot while the B is for a 10 inch octagon or round concave jack foot.

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

Solid, durable, and expands the footprint of our landing gear. The install was extremely easy. Just set them on the ground, lower the jack's, line up the snap pads to your landing pads, and they "snap" right into place. No more pulling out my leveling blocks to place on soft ground. They also, in my view, improve the appearance. I was super excited when these arrived (I'm a childish 57 year old) and was anxious to get to the campground to put them on. Once on place, they aren't going anywhere anytime soon as I tried to get them back off, just to see what it would take, and it was almost impossible to get them off. Thank you etrailer for getting this to me as soon as they became available and I appreciate the communication and shipping quality.

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

So far, so good!!! Received just in time to install prior to getting ready and heading out on a five day trip. I did the dish soap thing around the edge and easily installed by myself. I simply manually lowered the levelers until the Snap Pads could barely slide under, then aligned the Pads under the feet of the levelers and then lowered them into the Pads. Easy! Now I’m not worried about leveling on my driveway pavement. Day two at a campground and so far we haven’t lost any stability in the motorhome on a mostly grass site. In the photo, the orange Pads are only to keep rear wheel on the ground when leveled. If you enlarge, you can see the Snap Pads

Easy install with a helper and a little soap. I feel much better with this non-slip robust footpad installed. Cannot attest to durability as I've just installed them but they seem very heavy-duty. No more kneeling and situating pads when you get to camp!

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

‘Purchased a set of 4 to use on our 2019 AS, a 25’ International Serenity model, which has 5 1/2” square stabilizer feet. ‘Some hesitancy placing the order as most reviews appeared to have vehicles with round stabilizers. Manufacturer & delivery took months but was worth the wait: these are thick, heavy-duty, compressed rubber ( think rubber stall mat for race horses) and a nice, tight fit. The fit was tight enough that mounting required me to remove the foot from its arm and use a channel lock wrench to torque the snap pad edge enough for the foot plate to fit into the product groove. Once in, it appeared to be snug enough to stay there for the long haul. Re-attaching foot & pad to the stabilizer arm required another edge torque ( minimal pressure) to get the long attaching bolt to slide into its housing holes. ….long winded review for a simple Excellent rating of this product. I wasn’t disappointed with this purchase

The SnapPads were delivered on time, keeping the etrailer tradition of quick delivery. The quality is everything the manufacturer says it is. They're very easy to install. These should last for many years and many trails.

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

Oops, I did the review on the other item of the order. Story short: We lost one of the SnapPads that we just had purchased and installed on our trip staying in level sites at commercial campgrounds. We will never find out what the root cause was, but I assume it was a manufacturing flaw since the other three are still firmly attached to the jacks and I don't think I could get them off without brute force. Amazon and their supplier didn't understand the issue and offered to return the "complete" item or giving us a 20$ refund while telling us that they cannot sell us a single replacement pad. etrailer sold us the single pad we needed. Thank You. We will make sure to look at etrailer first in the future. Very different service when the people you talk to actually understand the issue and the product.

    Comments
Both items from etrailer are still in great working order after one year and more than 5000 miles. The Sturgis kit allows us to use normal LP tanks and save the LP in our onboard tank, since it is not always easy and or cheap to fill that guy. The Pads stayed on, rain or shine, gravel, dirt or blacktop. Very convenient not having to crawl under the vehicle to place regular jack pads. This is a great example that good customer service is more important than ever. Thanks again.

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

Quality of product appears to be good. Pads are heavy and made of a dense flexible material. Fit was excellent on rear jacks, but pair in front are a little loose, and rotate freely around the jack. I contacted Snap Pads directly and they assured me that was normal. On two short trips they have stayed intact. I like the ease of use, not needing to kneel and reach under the RV to place and retrieve the pads. The RV seems more stable when the jacks are extended. I would recommend this product.

    Comments
Great product! No issues in first year of use. Loose fit on front hacks has not been a problem. I would recommend this product.

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

While I just received the Snapped a, I haven't yet had a chance to experience them while camping. My rating of just average is based on the difficulty to install them. Even with what I felt was perfect alignment, the pads just wouldn't "pop" in. The same issue occurred with each of the 4 pads. One or two adjacent sides would appear to seat but on raising the jacks to try to seat the other side(s), the pads would either fall off or not seat in place even with the full weight of the RV on it. It was necessary in each case to use leveling blocks placed under the edges that didn't seat correctly. I must add that my pads are the square, vs. the round ones as originally designed. However. once the pads were completely seated, they appear to be ready to do what they were designed to do. Larger pad area, protection for my concrete driveway and jack pads are the benefits for which I purchased them.

    Comments
Sorry that you had such trouble. These are usually pretty simple to snap on, as long as they are perfectly aligned. Here is a video that shows the details of these pads:

Great product, easy to install, they work. The only reason didn't give 5 stars,is because we lost a couple going down the interstate, hit a tire cord. So had to replace them.

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

I've always been a fan of the snap pads. But, this set on my Grand Design Momentum is causing the feet on the landing gears to rust. They are holding a lot of water. My last set on my Keystone did great. I'm not sure what the problem is, but not real happy with these at this time.

    Comments
Thank you for your review. I havent heard of the SnapPads holding water before but I can imagine it does happen. I would first check the fitment to see if any are too loose then I would lubricate your landing gear feet to ensure that they do not rust further. We have a help article that has the best tips for rust:

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

8” Snap Pads received in a timely manner, and lookin’ good! For smooth business transaction, in times of a global pandemic, both etrailer, and UPS rock !!! I won’t install them until I’m on a level paved surface (not my bumpy gravel driveway). I expect these to work in 95% of the RV Parks we visit. I have BigFoot pads to pre-level the rest, & boondocking sloped sites. Thanks !

Snap Pads themselves work great, just as advertised. Sadly one popped off somewhere in my travels, so I’m down to three.

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

Needed to replace a lost snap pad, found a wonderful deal on etrailer.com for 4 (may as well have spares). Just love these, they will sit stable in almost any condition, sad, mud, asphalt, grass, hard pan. ordering was simple, in stick and received 5 days later. If you have leveling jacks, I highly recommend

One of the best purchases I made, they have helped in so many different conditions, seems to be easier to level with them on. No issues at all with Jacks and the added weight

I installed these SnapPads this past July on my Entegra Cornerstone. They were easy to install with the help of a friend. I'm very happy with the extra square inches that are on the ground to support our coaches heavy weight. Not all parks have concrete or asphalt which makes these extra nice. I highly recommend them.

Measure the diameter of the feet of your Power Gear setup and we'll be able to determine if the # SP64FR4 is a fit. This part number is for 10 inch diameter feet which is most likely what you have. If you had 9 inch diameter feet instead you'd want the # SP54FR4, 7 inch # SP24FR4 11-1/2 inch or 12 inch part # SP84FR74, 8 inch # SP34FR4 etc. I attached a page to see all the options we have since there are quite a few.
