Today we'll be taken a look at the Lippert Components 12 inch by 21 inch, inner and outer entry door window frame with seal in black. Part number LC363370. It's also available in white. Part number LC363369. The Lippert indoor outdoor window frame is the perfect replacement for your RV or camper's old worn out window frame. It measures 21 inches by 12 inches here on the inside and it's gonna fit your LCI radius RV doors. It's made out of a black extruded plastic, it's easy to install and there's no assembly required.
The glass is not included. Now that we know all the features lets go ahead and show you how to get it installed. As you can see my old one is faded. It's like a faded yellow color and I'd like to replace it. Let's go ahead and open up our camper door. Undo our screen.
Then we've got our window here with our screws. We'll just go ahead and take the first screw out. We're just gonna work our way around. Once we get them all out. We just kind of easily take off the frame.
You want to be sure and not break the window behind it. We can set that aside for now. Now to get the front portion of the frame off we can go ahead and bring our door around. Now its got some adhesive on this so it's kind of stuck on the door. We're gonna grab a plastic tool and try and work that around and pry it off. Now you can use a screwdriver, just be careful not to scratch the door.
Get underneath the end and just kinda pry it off and work your way around. Once one side gives way it should be fairly easy just to work your way around and get the rest of it off. There we go. Now before we replace our new window frame I'm going to go ahead and get some of this adhesive off here. I'm going to take my same scraping tool, or my plastic tool and work my way around and get some of that off there. Now with our door all cleaned off, let's go ahead and grab our new black window frame. The one with the sealant on it. Now it's a self sealing adhesive so we just need to press it firmly in place. Once we get the screws in place it's gonna pull it in nice and tight. Now with it in place we can open the door up. I'm going to get an extra set of hands. I'm going to have somebody come in and hold the frame in place while I place the glass in place. What you want to do is you want to make sure the textured side, if you do have a textured side that it's facing us. That way we can get a good grip on our seal. We're gonna set it in place. We've got some tabs sticking out here of where the glass should be. As you can see there's sealant for the glass too. The glass is just gonna rest up against it. It's held in place with these tabs along the frame. Then I'm gonna grab the other portion of my frame and set that in place. Now I'm just gonna go ahead and start a few screws in that way my buddy on the other side can let go. Now with the door open all the way we can go ahead and run the rest of our hardware through. Now with our hardware in place let's go and check it out. I'd say we got a pretty good seal. That's gonna complete our look at the Lippert Components 12 inch by 21 inch inner and outer entry door window frame with seal in black. Part number L3C63370.
