On the third winter using this cover, still in good shape . Way cheaper than building a RV carport. I am happy.

by:

Really liked the cover when I received it. I was told to put tennis balls on the rain gutters to keep the cover from wearing through at those points, Not only did the cover wear through at the gutter points, it wore through at the rear bumper, all ladder rungs, front corners and nose of the 5th wheel trailer. Thankfully, I have the 5 year warranty. Just hope that there is no problem in returning it.

The RV cover material appears to be of good quality upon arrival. The instructions were a bit lacking but we were able to figure out the tie down system incorporated for the 5th Wheel cover. I would suggest to open the cover on the ground, find the front and pull the cover from the back of the RV to the front. The tie down design could be engineered a little better so we added some additional straps to help prevent movement in heavy winds. So far satisfied with this product, we will see how it holds up to the coastal rain, wind and humidity over time. I would recommend the product!

Love it. Stays clean inside. Camper is outside under a pole shed. Keeps the dirt out.
Very heavy, but got it on.
Happy with it.
Front of camper sits facing the sun. Saves on the paint job.

by:

the 5th wheel cover is a great fit for my unit however I wish the material was more durable. I have ripped it as I was installing it for the first time.

by:

Did a good job thru one winter. I'm sure I will get several more yrs out of it, thank you for all the help!

This is a good cover, though not as durable as I'd hoped. I managed to put some small tears in it while removing ice and snow from on top. It came with a small repair kit that was adequate for the repair.
The cover easily goes over the spare tire and battery box and has elastic to hold it snug. I especially like that it came with a throw-bag for easily tossing the straps under the trailer. The four straps work very well to secure the cover even in high winds.
I folded and placed terry cloth towels on the four sharp corners of the trailer to keep the cover from wearing thru at the corners. This has worked well.

by:

Pulled on brand new cover strap and it tore the fabric. It also is pretty short on the sides of my Thor Freedom Traveler A30. So far no better than the junky ADCO covers.??The ADCO cover is easier to install wi the a better securing system but I have have been lucky to get more than 1 Maine winter out of 4 of them.

by:

The biggest headache was to locate the front and rear. Unfortunately, had to unfold on the ground to determine and refold to put back up on roof; and at that time, tore a small part of the covering. There were no instructions when it came to the two, long rolled up straps. I did thread one of the straps thru the loops at the bulkhead and tied it down, and the other to the underside of the back of the 5th. Overall, it's a great cover and happy with it.

by:

I loved the cover ! The material is strong, the seams are good and it fit just the way we wanted. I appreciated the instructions on how to unfold and roll up the cover inside out in order to place it easier onto the roof and let it fall into place. It came with small covers for the gutters but they didn't fit well, so we took a suggestion from another review and cut a pool noodle to fit over them which worked perfectly and will protect our cover from tearing. it also came with a rock bag to toss the straps under the belly. It had a storage bag for when we take it off and it came with what looked like a cover for the a/c unit on top, but it was too small for ours. The zippered side was right on target to give us access into the camper after the cover was on, which we needed because we forgot to turn off a light and left a bag of items inside. Lol. It was a very windy day when we installed it so it took longer than we expected but the vent holes and everything worked very well to let out the air. We are in Pennsylvania so I'll try to update the review after the winter snow and ice. It is covering a Coachman Catalina Legacy 30ft 283RKS.Please take a look at the photos.

by:

First of all your 'product image' photo does NOT match what you are selling.
I made my own gutter covers from 3.5" pieces of pool noodles. I'm not certain why directions tell you to turn it inside out...when I got it on the roof, I had to struggle to turn it right side out. We have a solar panel and AC unit that put some strain on the way it fits. There is no velcro around the camper jacks as one reviewer stated. We live on a lake where the winds howl 25-30 mph at times. I'll post photos in the spring. Hopefully it will hold up as it seems to be reinforced and quality material.

by:

This cover is heavier material and easier to use than other similarly priced covers I have used in the past on other RV's. Also, the cover is soft so as not to scuff the RV in high wind conditions. The extra straps and velcro attachments are in the exact locations to insure proper fit.

by:

Wasn't sure if this cover would work for my 2005 Lance 1071. I was able to talk to customer service and was assured of the measurements. Very pleased with my cover and etrailer.com

by:

I am pleasantly surprised by the toughness of the fabric on this cover and extras like the weighted pouch to throw the four straps under the trailer and the four vents to keep moisture from getting trapped under the cover.

by:

I know this is a late review. I was initially happy with the cover eTrailer people were amazing answering questions and it fit perfectly the first time. However after only having to one year ( purchased July2021) it has failed and no longer usable. Keep in mind it was not on the trailer the whole year only when not in use. As the pictures show the material began to deteriorate and then fail. Along with seams along zippers failing.

by:

Sadly many places on the cover that are on corners have ripped through. It’s not too tight or the corner is too sharp. The material the cover is made of rips easily. It sort of pulls apart on places that it receives any stress. I use a heavy tarp over it so I can’t comment on its longevity in the sun

The best advise I can give is DO YOUR HOME WORK BEFORE YOU BUY, and get the correct cover for your needs! I have read too many reviews from people who bought the wrong cover, i.e. a light weight cover meant for short term storage but use it long term, and then complain it didn't last. We have a V-nose travel trailer and since no one makes covers specifically for them, we had to find what we thought would be the best one for it. We measured down the top of the trailer from tip of the V to the end of the ladder and looked at ones that would fit that measurement. We decided on the Camco UltraGuard cover because of the fact that it was heavy duty and recommended for cold and snowy climates (we live in Michigan). We liked the idea of the many air vents where the sides meet the top, and the numerous tie-down straps with bungee cord ends. We watched a video about the easiest way to put a cover on, since this was all new to us. It recommended laying it out on the ground first and locating the "Front" and "Rear" labels so you knew which end was which before hauling all 38 lbs of it up on the top of the trailer, where it would be more difficult and unsafe to figure out. Also it recommended turning it inside out, with the sides folded up over the top so the sides could be dropped down easily, rather than having to be pulled out from underneath the top, as would have to be done if opened from the way it was folded at the factory. Before installation we followed the enclosed instructions which said to cover any sharp edges and points on the trailer before installing the cover. We cut pieces of swimming noodles to cover the rain gutter ends and the corners of the step frames. We then loosened and lowered the AM/FM antenna and covered it and the folding TV antenna with an old towel. Being heavy duty fabric, the cover was a little eavy to get up on top of the trailer, so we had to use another ladder, not the one attached to the trailer, to get it up there. That was actually the hardest part, but once up, it was easy to adjust in place per the video instructions and drop the sides down. Final adjustment could be made from the ground by pulling carefully on the sides . NOTE: The tie-down straps do not go all the way under the trailer as do many other brands, but have soft-fabric covered aluminum hooks you bend into shape yourself to hook underneath the trailer. We were not sure we liked that arrangement at first, but it seems to work well holding the sides of the cover down and in place. We used the frame of the trailer as much as possible to hook onto rather than just the bottom of the sides. The instructions said not to pull the bungee sections tight but to leave a little spring in them so they have some give when the wind blows the cover. I think the reason is if they were tight with no give, the wind might possibly rip the tie-down from the cover. The back straps used to tighten it work very well, but since our trailer is a V-nose, we had to fudge with the straps on the front to snug it down as tightly as possible, so we added another bungee strap to hold down the excess fabric of the front corners. The whole installation took two of us a little over an hour, but next time should go faster now that we have it figured out. We wondered how well it would all hold, but this past week we had sustained winds of 35-40 MPH with gusts of 55 MPH for over 24 hours, and the cover hardly even moved. All you could see was the sides poofing out slightly and then the air vent flaps would lift and let the excess air out, so the top never ballooned up at all! It also rained very hard and the cover just beaded up the water and it ran off. The main trick is to take your time and get it snugged down with no loose, baggy, flapping areas where the wind can get under it. Now we have no doubt it will also hold up just fine to the cold winter snow and winds here in Michigan!

by:

Fits perfectly, easy to install with good directions included, tie down straps work as they should. Very happy

by:

The CAMCO pop up camper cover has held up very well over the last year. It’s kept the harsh weather & elements out of it and kept the contamination off the camper exterior.
I had stored it in an unheated garage for years until that garage wasn’t available anymore. I now store it in my back yard covered and with a few Cab Fresh rodent repellant sacks strategically placed inside it to keep them varments out of it.

by:

The cover arrived very quickly, three days earlier than the estimated delivery date. I was able to install the cover within a few minutes by myself. It fits nicely on my new Aliner.

by:

Just installed and seemed well designed. Install instructions were good and made the install relatively easy. Time will be the true judge.
