This SE-Series half-slider bunk window is built for camper vans with a bed platform along the passenger side wall, where airflow can get limited. It adds light and a sliding opening for airflow without cutting a tall window into your sleeping area.
This window installs into the wall space above a bed platform where a full-height window would interfere with cabinetry, structure, or both. It brings in light while keeping the sleeping area intact.
The sliding portion allows airflow into the bunk area. A spring-loaded latch holds the panel in position to reduce movement while driving, and a built-in mesh screen keeps insects out.
The exterior surface is flush glass for a smooth appearance once installed. The window bonds directly to the body using urethane adhesive, creating a sealed edge around the opening so the bunk stays sealed when closed and still gives you airflow when the slider is open.
This bunk window sits at eye level from outside, creating a direct view into the sleeping area when parked near others or in public spaces. The 17% gray tint limits how much someone can see inside while still allowing visibility out. It also blocks 83% of UV rays, reducing sun exposure through that section of glass.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our Van Windows Direct SE Series half slider bunk window for your passenger side. So folks, whether you're building a camper van, every window serves a purpose. And in your sleeping area, the right window can make that space feel brighter, cooler, fresher, more comfortable, right So that's what we're looking at today. This is an SE Series passenger side half slider bunk window.
We do carry a driver's side as well. The difference is the way that this unit will slide open and which side you want open. That way when you're driving down the road, obviously you're not getting stuff inside, et cetera. So keep that in mind. As you can see it half slides, very simple to do.
This measures 40 inches long, 15 inches tall on the outside. You will require a cutout of 37 1/4 long by 12 1/2. Now, what's cool is they do give you this cardboard cutout, just like the sticker on their own cutout says, make sure you're measuring many, many times before you just go cutting on the side of the van. (coughs) Excuse me. You wanna make sure you get the right measurements the first time.
Now, that being said, it's a simple pull out and slide. I can open this window. Now I have the screen here or I can open the screen as well. I can close them both together. Very simple to use, very simple to operate.
Now, as far as install, if you don't wanna tackle it yourself, we got you covered. We have an install locator link below on the product page. You can click on that link, give us your zip code, and we can help pair you up with trusted etrailer technicians in your area. Now, this is gonna be a fairly simple design. You want to cut a hole. And then after that, you're gonna have to sand down the metal, make it smooth, and then put some kind of paint primer on there so it doesn't rust. And then you have a bunch of different options here. I'll put them on the screen for you. This would be considered a small window. So that item number VW84ZR on the far right. That tube of urethane would work great. If you pair that with the foam insulation tape and the caulk gun, then you should be on your way. The other things that we don't carry is gonna be like a cutting tool, maybe it's a jigsaw. I know our technicians here like to use a jigsaw more than a reciprocal saw and those kind of things. Even more than those little three inch dial cutters. They just said it worked really good and smooth, and they could take their time and it wasn't bouncing around. So take that for what it's worth. The window frame itself on the back here is a durable black aluminum frame. It's clean, it's gonna give it a factory-style appearance. It's gonna look OE basically when you're done, right And again, as far as the install, like I said, we got your covered if you don't wanna do it yourself. Otherwise, that's our look at this Van Windows Direct passenger side SC Series half slider bunk window. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
