Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement Obscure Safety Glass for your RV Entrance Door. Now, this part here will replace a broken or damaged RV entrance door obscured safety glass panel. It is a tempered glass, so it improves strength, removes the risk of shattering, and this will meet all required safety standards. To give you a measurement of this piece, we're gonna measure the width.
So if I go straight across, 12 and a half inches wide. And the height, if we go from the bottom to the very top, it's 21 and a half inches tall. Now, this is an obscure glass. And I wanted to zoom in to show you what we're talking about. If you notice, one side has an obscure pattern on it.
It is a privacy glass that'll obscure what's on the other side. It is transparent, but it has a surface texture on the side that results in a distorted or blurry image. If you notice here, if my hand's close, you can make it out, but as you move away, it gets distorted and blurry. It still lets light through. Now, when you do install this, you do wanna make sure that the pattern side right here should face the inside, and the smooth side would be on the outside.
