Purchased a used Thule bicycle rack and it was missing a couple locks. Purchased these to match the locks that were in it. They work great, matched the old locks/keys perfectly.
etrailer has been great to purchase from. They really go above and beyond keeping the customer in the loop. They had some difficulty getting them from Thule (Thule's fault, not theirs) but they kept me updated constantly and were super friendly. I'll be buying from them again in the future, I'm sure!
I needed one more lock core to match a set I have on a roof rack and rooftop box for one vehicle, and then another full set of four to match the rack on another car. etrailer had all of the cores I needed within a few days. Even better, when I accidentally switched the numbers when I initially placed my order, a quick call to etrailer got that corrected and the new order on its way. The lock cores arrived in a timely fashion and work as advertised. Hooray!
The order process was very easy, the product came in great shape and was delivered two days early. etrailer was very helpful in locating the proper item that I needed which were matching locks for my Thule 2 bicycle rack. They had their own chart and their price point was lower than the competetor also, the shipping was lower. As usual this service is fantastic. I haven't installed the lock cores yet, but I've bought the same cores in the past to have all of my Thule products keyed alike. I just added new load bars to my Ford Explorer and needed the lock cores to finish off the job. Buying just the cores through etrailer.com is cheaper than ordering a "kit" from Thule, which includes the keys and the blank to install them (already have both). As usual, the follow-up, shipping, and customer service from etrailer.com is top notch!
These lock cylinders worked great, the matching set is the only way to go for any locking rack, or bike rack. I installed these in our haulavaters for our kayaks. I just purchased a used Thule car top carrier and need new locks for it. So I will be ordering those in the next few weeks.

The lock worked perfectly on the lock inserts on the cables of my Thule Bike Rack. I matched the lock number (N085) to my existing locks that I had on the bike rack (on the ratcheting arms) so that the same key would fit all of the locks on the bike rack. Now I am able to lock my bike via the ratcheting arms and via the cables that are attached to the bike rack.
Before I purchased the locks I called customer service at etrailer -- the woman I spoke to was really helpful. The locks arrived within a few days of purchasing them online.

Etrailer sent me only 3 out of 4 lock cylinders. I contacted customer service and they promptly furnished the missing lock cylinder.
Works great. The letters/numbers are slightly different than the original but the fit was exact.

I purchased this for my Audi A4 base roof rack system. One of the original locks fell off and this was a PERFECT replacement. The price was fair and the service (correspondence) from etrailer was great! Overall I had a wonderful experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use etrailer.com again.
I recently got a Thule roof rack for my new car. I wanted to use just one key for all my locks in already in use on my other roof rack, bike rack and other Thule accessories. Etrailer had the lock cylinder number I needed and I ordered 4 more locks. They shipped them quickly and they arrived. They were installed and function as expected. Etrailer always has what I need at a reasonable price.
A friend passed away leaving a car and bicycle rack that were to go separate ways but the lock had no key nor any key numbers. There were 2 new looking Thule N series keys with no lock to be found. A replacement lock was around $75 and switching wafer 2 for wafer 3 made 4/5 wafers fit and seemed good enough until I saw your reasonably priced replacement numbered cylinders. As you can see it worked perfectly.
The Thule bike rack from etrailer is excellent! And the customer service is too! Chelsey S. was my customer service person and she followed through and checked up all the way through. I had lost the lock off the rack but next day my husband found it in the street. Long story short had ordered it already and etrailer was wonderful taking the lock back. Did I say or if I haven't reviewed the bike rack yet I will - so easy to put on, take off myself, etc. Anyway from now on all my trailer stuff will be from this wonderful company.
Thanks to etrailer I was able to add the lock to my thule bike tray without having additional keys to potentially loose. Price was extremely reasonable and shipping time was as listed.

Below is my mountain bike securely locked down to my Thule wide mouth bike tray on a 09 dodge journey.
Thule products are typically solid and I have been a fan. Ordered two key cylinders to match with my equipments for one-key access. One of the cylinder is defected upon received as it would not retain in the hole. Upon closer inspection it is missing a inner tab for retention purpose. (Noticed the empty slot on the barrel in the picture.). I was surprised as this is a product quality escape from Thule. Called etrailer for customer support and was able to arrange for a replacement. I appreciate the good customer support.

A perfect fit. If they are not made by Thule, you can't tell the difference. I've used aftermarket lock cores and they always fall out. These are very snug and secure. I already had some locks that used the same key, so I ordered these to avoid having multiple keys.
Now I can securely lock my kayak to my securely attached Thule rack on my Sylvan Sport Go camper / trailer (see picture).
You can't go wrong with etrailer.com . They have what you need for trailers, cargo, as well as other accessories.
